Food on a cruise shiopthere are always options that I have already paid for ( so far ). If Sorrento's goes the way of the CFO then more of these options will be searched out . Thx Ironically , I have only eaten 1 specialty , chops , ( because it was comped ). My wifes meal was fantastic , But my striploin was horrible . Sent back , then horrible again . The head waiter was in shock . As I am generally not that fussy , I just ate it the 2nd time , even though she was begging me to let her get a 3rd

So I have my checkin dates for my 2 upcoming cruises . Does RCI adhere to a specific time for check in to begin . As in will it open at exactly or close to midnight ( or some other scheduled time ) , on the day or is it just random and I'll have to continually check . I wouldn't know the answer as with all my past cruises I have missed my checkin date , and end up checking in days/weeks later and shafting myself out of the earlier timeslots . And I do like to get onboard as early as possible Thx

If I had the flexibility to plan it that way , I would try to book where only one ship is there . I have yet to experience only 1 ship . I have two stops in October . First will have Freedom/Grandeur.... Not too bad , but Second has Harmony/Freedom... That one will be a zoo ! Overcrowding is my only small complaint , LOVE the island , probably my favorite stop ,but with Celebrity now calling there as well , there will be much fewer 1 ship stops in the future .Hopefully they continue to develop and maximize more space . And if they are naive enough to start charging for Sorrento's , It's not hard to figure how many people would premptively (secure) a snack for later from WJ , incase they were hungry. I personally have some nights where i feel like eating the ship and other nights I can fade away into lala land with nothing . If I know there is no free 'latenight' venue where I can stuff my face if I want to , I am gonna load up from windjammer for later . Some nights that will be eaten , but there will be MUCH more waste . Cheers

Excellent review ! Despite what many seem to think expressing a few negatives about an experience does not make you "someone who just wants to be miserable" . I find many flaws with my cruise experiences , but have still fully enjoyed everyone ! Cheers

Exactly ! For me personally I see this and think it is an insane amount ..again , ( for me personally ) . I am a numbers guy and when I average that out to what even 1/4 of that would mean for someones pay , it would be 1 H3!! of a good living just on tips. But In my opinion , tip $0 or $1000 if you fell generous , either way , no right or wrong , and none of my business ! Cheers

You have "earned "a free picture ... exactly ! This is nothing like the drink package at all . You buy a drink package and it is clearly for your consumption only ! In contrast if you have "earned" 4 free diamond drinks , it is completely within the rules to share them with anyone you please ! Cheers

These 2 bolds are a bit contradictory . Agree to an extent about specialty VS MDR except , until MDR is not an option at all , (which I have surmised may be their end game) , I will not pay an upcharge for a better quality dining experience , but instead enjoy the included food experience as best I can Cheers

When is your cruise ? I'd love to hear back how this goes as from everything I've been hearing this request falls into the "not likely to happen " category. I feel the $40 trading hands at the time you make the request will likely help the cause , but otherwise... Not so sure Cheers

Back in 2018 there was a ( Caribbean ) cruise , I believe out of Boston , and due to a hurricane moving up the coast they changed it to a Canada/New England itinerary . There were people who flew out of Halifax to Boston to board a ship that then turned around and stopped at Halifax as one of their ports ( along with other ports that are near and similar to Halifax ) Within days of this I left on an 11 night Caribbean out of New Jersey , ( flying out of Halifax ) . I was terrified I was gonna suffer the same fate . OP.... I feel your frustration , and the people who claim you are griping and groaning when you should be thinking about the poor souls in Lahaina , are just looking for something/someone to B!tc# at because they have nothing better to do . Destruction , Poverty , and Hardship is present everywhere we all cruise every day . Your vacation $'s should get you what you paid for ... or at least something similar Cheers
