  4. Though the obnoxious part is bang on , the clean your plate part is completely false ! You can order a second Entree at the same time as your first , they just wont bring it to you until you are "done" with the first . 1 bite or cleaned plate doesn't matter ! Cheers
  5. It's one thing to expect the airline to screw up my luggage , but this adds another layer. At least it would be on the way home when I wouldn't need to $tress about it
  6. My drinks , after the conversion to Canadian bucks , are approx. $19 a piece .... So ya , i'll quite value the vouchers !! Cheers
  7. If a cruise is cancelled last minute (a week out ) , Will I be refunded the pre paid Grats , as well as port fees and taxes ? Or just the Grats ?? Thanks

  9. I feel it would be much more convenient for you to link the Reservations . If you don't link , when you are going to booking all sorts of meals, shows, etc. you would have to punch in reservation numbers each time , whereas if you link them it will be clicking a box each time instead . Seems much less of a hassle Cheers
  10. I agree completely !! If they are going to list it as a benefit of a certain level .... Then you should be able to access said benefit !!! , Otherwise it's a sham .
  11. Also fresh squeezed OJ < specialty coffes , JR's shakes , And ... If you don't happen to use them all in a particular day , grab a beer or soda at the end of the day to store in the fridge for when u may want an extra ! Cheers And as Mike said ... if it doesn't entice you ... fair enough , probably NOT gonna find much value anywhere else !
  12. Really , thoughts for the majority (myself included ) ,is that the first substantial benefit isn't achieved until Diamond when the free drinks start flowing . If you are a drinker at all , this will really add up to a TRUE financial benefit ! I have never bought the drink package as it is not worth it to me , however I do have a substantial 'bar bill' at the end of each cruise .Diamond gives me nearly $800 off of that bill for a 7 day for 2 of us . Cheers.....And Cheers again !

  16. I'm not sure I buy that theory as from what I understand most times specialty dining on Royal is hard to get reservations for , so they too should be spread out by that theory.. ?! Cheers
  17. I have not experienced how other lines handle this properly ... (consistently) , with the exception of 1 NCL cruise that opened my eyes to the possibility , .... But I hope Royal can figure it out ! Based on my cruises since Restart , Royals MDR dining in general , is a $.hit show Cheers
  18. You seem to be forgetting the part where (unless removing the auto Grats ) Everyone is tipping the first time around ! This is where the system is skewed for the worse ! So maybe you are suggesting remove the Auto grats and tip appropriately ?! Not what I am looking to do . Cheers ...And (?)

  20. I'd be curious how that 5 is handled between various wait teams. I'd be willing to bet some Head Waiters feel they do not need to share or at the very least feel they deserve a higher chunk. If we are happy with our service we always tip the assistant as much as the head , and in a couple cases have actually tipped the assistant more due to exceptional service provided ! On one of those occasions where the assistant provided much better overall service we actually had the head waiter apologize that his assistant wasn't great ...Blew my mind . Seems they often feel they are far superior due to title Cheers
