  1. just FYI, I regularly check all my flights, whether booked with EZAir or directly with the airline. I’ve not experienced a greater chance of a flight change with EZAir than when booking with any other method. An easy way to stay on top of flights and changes is with an app such as FlightView. I’ll usually see changes there well before the airline notifies me.
  2. Yes, like you, I’d think that if I canceled an excursion I would get refunded how I paid for it: if I’d paid with OBC, I’d get that back, if with cc, I’d get a refund to my cc. Nope. Refunds go to OBC first; if and only if that’s all been refunded will you finally get a refund to your cc.
  3. This does of course work. I keep track in a little spreadsheet. Yes, it would be nice if there were an easier way.
  4. On @John Bull's recommendation, we had dinner at the Dancing Man this spring. The food was outstanding & a fun venue. We did make a reservation. It was a short walk from our hotel, the Holiday Inn Southampton; on the walk back, we strolled along/through the remains of the roman walls, very interesting. Mary
  5. We've done these same 2 cruises - may have been on the ship with you 🙂 While both cruises were stunning, I would say the same, do the Land of the Midnight Sun first, Iceland later.
  6. Yes, by US law the airlines must allow one to cancel within 24 hours for a full refund. Of course they all act like it's something they thought up themselves to be nice 😄 Given the "24 hour full refund" law, most (all?) airlines realized it's cheaper for them to allow a 24 hour hold than to force a book-then-cancel situation. 7. You should be able to see what seats are available by going to the airline website & doing a search for your flight, as if you were going to book. But, of course, that won't tell you if EZAir has any of those seats available. Perhaps doing a mock booking on the Princess site without logging in?
  8. When we’re in that very short taxi ride situation we give a hefty tip. Generally the driver sat in line for awhile to end up with us, then must return to the end of the taxi line. So, we compensate a bit for the trouble.
  9. @possum52 Leigh, several of your posts have been very helpful to me -- thank you so much! Mary
  10. and so they are! thanks for the heads up 🙂
  11. @capriccio how was the Princess Green Island tour (out of Cairns)? we're considering that, or going with an independent operator (Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises). Thanks, Mary
  12. Yikes! Guess it's the right-click "open in new tab" then? it shouldn't be this difficult.
  13. Yes, viewing excursions works on Firefox, not Chrome or Edge (but stay tuned, it may all change again 😂)
  14. Sure, it's not "that hard to open another browser". It also shouldn't be that hard for Princess to make sure their site works with any of the 3 major browsers. Other major companies seem able to manage to make their site work.
  15. I’ve been having the same issue with “Pricing not available”. Was able to see pricing on the Firefox browser (but not on Edge or Chrome). Annoying!
  16. when you requested early ticketing, you had to pay for the flights right then, correct? (and yes, mysterious ways 😄 )
  17. Funny thing. for an upcoming trip, but we're still well before final payment, our flights have already been ticketed (and for maybe 2 months now?). Ticket #s show on the Personalizer EZAir tab and on the airline site. So far, we've used EZAir a couple of times, and it's been just fine. A key is to track the flights on the airline website, not just on the Princess site (or any travel agent/consolidator site). I also use the Flightview app and check flights once a week or so; it almost always alerts me of flight changes well before the airline does. Mary
  18. Oh, I see what you’re saying. Another good question is what one would be charged for the package onboard?
  19. The T&C explicitly talks about Oz cruises. I highlighted that in post #76.
  20. NOPE! That’s what they’re trying to convey, that there’s no discount or rebate, even though in one sense the package is less valuable. OTOH, it translates to one more drink/glass of wine per day needed to “break even” with a package. For many who buy the package, they’re still coming out ahead.
  21. Here's a link to the Terms & Conditions I've been quoting from: Princess Plus & Princess Premier - Princess Cruises
