  1. They sell and deliver onboard a certain range of the Rolex's - not all models are available for delivery but several are including the ones that are hard to get in the normal land based stores
  2. Only if you’re looking for a videographer for a wedding 😂😂😂😉 Ok more seriously - I’d suggest rather than the video abilities being your criteria talk to someone you trust and see who they use - get advice from friends or experienced cruisers - then contact the agents and interview them - you’ll soon get a feel for their style and approach and that’s important that it fits with your style and requirements
  3. I believe you can get a lot of value from using an experienced TA - both in terms of advice and management if your booking as well as financially. All of that should not cost you one cent extra and using them should be a financial benefit to you I can’t think of a con Not sure when you booked but if it was recently I suggest you consider contacting a TA who can get the booking transferred to them and then offer you all the benefits that come from using a good TA Note Cruise Critic rules prevent anyone posting the details of a TA here for you
  4. From September 2023 They are in Euros The self service laundry is good 😉
  5. Lyft doesn’t operate in Australia Uber is generally good but always check it out against other online options including taxis
  6. Really? - I can’t see Serenity kicking 150-200 Word Cruise guests, can you?
  7. Why not get your TA onto it? They have the appropriate channels into Crystal and should be able to get you an update I don’t believe a decision has been made yet though
  8. and all that goes with Celebrity. I’m not sure that a few buffet items will attract many Silversea guests over to them We enjoyed breakfasts on Silver Muse - often in Atlantic’s and occasionally in La Terrazza - I never had any issue finding breakfast items I liked on the menu or at the buffet
  9. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see - hey 40% occupancy - they’d kill for that on Symphony these days…. The World Cruisers are a captive market - if they want to stay onboard that is, so there’s another challenge of what they’ll do with that routing - lots to speculate on for them Time will tell 😂😂😂😉
  10. Indeed - Bon Voyage to everyone onboard I wonder how many full World Cruisers there are?
  11. We spent 3 weeks in 527 on Muse last year and had zero issues with noise - the location close to Dolce Vita, the laundry and lifts was excellent and very convenient and did not present any problems
  12. Why would they do that and forgo the revenue? The Silver Moon decision was taken in very quick time as they had to exit the Red Sea very quickly and head to Athens to drop off guests and then depart that same day I believe, in order to get to Mumbai for a scheduled cruise. There was simply no time to offer the new itinerary to anyone and thus they had little choice to sail without guests One would hope that Crystal are able to announce this and offer the new cruise to guests so they can get wine revenue from that voyage
  13. Interesting regarding the dining options - I’m curious as to which of the restaurants you did find ok? I suspect dining is inevitably a matter of personal choice of course but normally one can find something that tickles your fancy
  14. They certainly did back in September - lovely plump and tasty French oysters - sumptuously delicious. They were there some lunchtimes towards the end of the cruise as well
  15. Wow - are you sure? - if correct that’s amazing - and so sad Surely they could have marketed it more to get a better loading on that cruise I appreciate they don’t want to discount the product but surely some revenue would have been better than sailing with that number
  16. A friend onboard at the moment sent this lunch menu for Sakura - it’s certainly more than sushi - what makes you say sushi bar only? I doubt anyone would be expecting the full dinner menu to be on offer at lunch time
  17. Just curious was this lamb chops outage across all the restaurants? They normally have lamb chops in Marble (French) and at least Sakura and Fil Rouge (New Zealand) so that’s quite an impact across 3 restaurants
  18. Thanks Rob - great to see you and Jim are having a good cruise and so lucky to have Mark Farris serenading you too - say hi to him for me I did try one of the new gins when on Symphony for a visit recently - very aromatic
  19. Nice - so how does one arrange the samples? Ask the butler I guess? Hope they have that option available next month I’ll skip those whiskeys but happy to see some new gins being stocked
  20. You’ve been on a few days and have worked your way through all the menus in the 4 restaurants and the options at Emporium? That’s impressive With the range on offer my feeling is you have a wider selection each day than you might find on say Regent or Crystal and if you like something then you know it will be there next time you dine in that restaurant rather than having to request it - to me that’s a good thing. From memory I believe Fil Rouge does have a daily special option We were on for almost 3 weeks and never tired of the menus and the diverse range of dishes on other - and the quality was amazing We never ran out of lamb chops either
  21. The brand of the products provided is Mandala Blue manufactured by Culti The Dyson hair dryer comes with attachments
  22. There can be a line of people waiting for Waterside to open - once that initial rush is dealt with there are unlikely to be delays in being seated The line could not be considered to be a scrum
  23. It’s now called Waterside and it’s open dining with no reservations possible
  24. So no Dom onboard? I wonder his just how true that is Perhaps you should ask at one of the restaurants if they have it available to buy - when they undoubtably say yes just say no thanks and tell the Food & Beverage you want a bottle on your Residence Suite as per the deal
  25. We have sailed both Regent Explorer and Explora Journeys in the last 3 months - we enjoyed both lines but loved Explora I - the food, service and features of the ship are very impressive. Of your list you’re taking quite different lines with Ritz and Seadream being much smaller ships than Explora or the newer Regent ships I should add however that Explora Journey have been guilty of major itinerary changes on a number of occasions in their short time on the market - so you could find yourself finding the same issue if booking with them. It certainly hasn’t stopped us booking with them - we can’t wait to return
