  1. Thanks. Could you explain what you mean there? What would be an example of a pre-existing condition that I might assume did not pertain? The potential for COVID is my primary concern.
  2. A related question is if I test positive and am not allowed to embark on my cruise, does the cruise line refund my cruise fare? (This is just a single cruise, not a B2B.)
  3. The Chase Sapphire limit is $5000 per person, $10,000 total. The larger numbers you cite I believe are Sapphire Preferred.
  4. There is no online process, but it does allow you to fill out the application online and then print it out and send it. It was very easy.
  5. I share your concerns. We’re booked on a cruise in October and are very nervous about it. But we’ve already postponed it twice so we’re eager to make it work. I think there are some common sense things one to do to minimize risk, but it’s still a gamble. Good luck. Hope it goes well for you.
  6. We haven’t yet. We’re booked on a cruise starting October 8 on Royal Clipper, I believe. This will also be our first Clipper cruise. Trying to still figure out how safe it will be. Happy sailing.
  7. Thank you very much. Enjoy your cruise.
  8. According to the COVID information on the Star Clipper website, a cruise passenger needs to have travel insurance. Does anyone know if this includes trip protection (which I already have from my credit card company) or is it just medical insurance? Also any recommendations of good sources for this insurance are more than welcomed. Thanks so much!
  9. I sent a note to the cruise line and they sent me the port times for my cruise. (They said that they were tentative.)
