  1. I guess it is what we should have expected, but still it was very disappointing. JMHO
  2. Remember, it is not only these 6 pages, but also multiple pages on different cc forums, and what we get is a couple of softball questions with softball answers, basically a total waste of time and effort.
  3. It seems whoever picked from the huge amount of questions on various cc forums, just looked for softball questions. Lesson learned, if they do this again, don't waste my time asking any question.
  4. Since we are not limited to one, I will try to do them in the order they were visited: Nice---a tender port for which we could do Nice (which we did), Cannes, or Monaco was our very first port ever. We went to the Chagall and Matisse Museums which is still probably the best DIY we ever did. (Note DW is, or was as she is now retired, an art teacher.) Afterwards, DW went for a swim in the Mediterranean while having me watch our stuff while sitting near several topless French women. St. Petersburg--so much to see. I set up a group tour (10 including us) from our roll call. We had a wonderful tour with Alla. And not only, was the city incredible, but also our group bonded together very well. (Earlier on the same cruise, we were in Tallinn, Estonia, another fabulous place, like being in a medieval town. Athens---What can I say? Standing in front of the Parthenon is incredibly inspiring. Florence---This should have been listed second as it was also on our first cruise, but I royally screwed up and got us on a train going the wrong way, and we did not get there! Ten years later (35th anniversary instead of 25th like our first cruise), we did a similar cruise to our first. This time I booked a Florence on Your Own tour and DW booked online in advance tickets to the 2 most major museums. Just a wonderful, wonderful day and made up for that terrible screwup on our first cruise. Edinburgh---We got to see the Scottish Military Tattoo Montreal---this was actually the last port we have been to and is included more for what we did on the few days we stayed there after our cruise. The 2 highlights I remember the most are an exhibit of African art that inspired Picasso and art by Picasso at a museum and a display of literally thousands of Barbie dolls at a department store. Honorable mentions---Barcelona, Mayan ruins in Belize, Bermuda, and Stockholm (the one port I wish we really had more time, even an extra day, though I guess an extra day in Athens would have also been nice.)
  5. 🤞, but it looks like we will never find out the questions and answers. What a waste of time for all who posted not only on this thread but also on similar threads on these boards. The next time we are given this "opportunity" to have our questions answered, I hope we all remember this and don't waste our time. 😢
  6. And what a waste that would be of all the effort put into the posts not only on this thread but also Ask a Cruise Question, the thread for the other lines owned by Carnival Corporation, the thread for NCL, and the thread for Royal Caribbean.
  7. The Princess IT department that brought you the wonderful Medalllion works in strange and mysterious ways. 🤦‍♂️
  8. Our Prima cruise is not until early August, but when I went to see if I could book Donna Sommer, it said "Too Early, come back April 8". I do believe that would be our final payment date if we were booking direct with NCL rather than through a TA. When did you graduate from good old Monti High? If it was between 1996 and 2001, I was on the School Board those years.
  9. I know the Donna Sommer show sells out, so I looked at booking it. The pop-up said too early, come back 4/8. Now that is probably NCL's final due date. (Our TA has a final due date 5 days earlier. I know his due dates are earlier as he factors in something may go wrong or a person might forget so he leaves a cushion.) So, my question is is that a fixed date for booking the show, or would I be able to book it for any specific date onboard once we are fully paid.
  10. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Often there are issues like these that those of us who are the passengers do not think of.
  11. I hope the questions and answers to our (and other) questions and answers is posted soon.
  12. Do you know which day is scheduled for the panel that will hopefully hear some of our questions?
  13. I think the poster you are reacting to was being sarcastic. At least that is how I read his post. Perhaps, he should have used an emoji.
  14. She specifically mentioned Google (by which I assume she meant Chrome) and Firefox. (I had said to her while it still was not working right on my computer with Edge, it did work properly at a library computer with Firefox).
  15. "What goes up must come down"--Spinning Wheel by Blood, Sweat, and Tears.
  16. I think you can see that change in emphasis in the tv ads for the various cruise lines. Instead of being pushed as a pampered, luxury item, it is being pushed as fun with waterslides, etc.
  17. But how often does she go through with it? If it is never, I am sure you recognize it as an empty threat.
  18. It was not that long ago (if any of us can remember what things were like pre-Covid) that in addition to the OBC, it was a money maker. It was in the low mid 30s when we bought it, and not only did it go up from there, but at some point the dividend that they paid doubled.
  19. How long have you been married? We will have out 46th anniversary this summer on a cruise. One of my favorite pictures in the world is from our wedding day. We are at DW's parents' house after the wedding. My tuxedo went back upstate with my parents to be returned, and I am now wearing a Grateful Dead tee-shirt and blue jeans while DW is still in her wedding dress (which she made). I am standing reading wedding cards while she is sitting down looking up at me with an adoring expression. She still loves me, but I never see her look at me with that expression any longer.
  20. Are you saying his all knowing, all wise Medallion is not giving him the message? 🤣
  21. That is what I was told by a tech support representative when I called and then was called back a few minutes ago. Have others had problems with NCL on Microsoft? Mine did not have a problem until this weekend. (See the thread about 4 skipped ports that I started a few days ago to see the problem.)
  22. OK, further update---still skips on my computer. I called NCL's tech support #. I was told 20 minute wait but they could give a call back. I opted for the call back, and was called about 10 miutes later. I explained that it worked at the library correctly, but not on my computer. She had me try again, and still did not work. Her explanation was their website does not work well with Microsoft (I am using Microsoft Edge), but works well with firefox (which the library computer was on) and Google Chrome. BTW, it had been working properly until this weekend, so I don't know about this explanation.
  23. Really, why should anything coming out of Princess still surprise you?
