  1. airport in grand turk - Google Search McCartney International Airport.
  2. I think the OP is serious with the question. And after reading posts in several different cc cruise line forums, I think the question could be posed for several different ships. 😢
  3. Those with passports will fly. Those without passports will eventually fly home unless they want to not wait and swim back.😉
  4. Note--Visa and MasterCard are more widely accepted than other credit cards such as American Express and Discover.
  5. We were once on a HAL ship where I joined a roll call someone else started, and that ended up being it for the roll call. The other cc member joked we would have the ship to ourselves and be upgraded to suites. I replied, maybe instead they will cancel the ship. Obviously no meet and greet, but we did meet onboard. And it even turned out we were on the same corridor.
  6. Since they sell bottled water as you leave the ship at ports, it is pretty obvious that bottled water is allowed off the ship.
  7. Even if it was only 100 shares in the account with separate cabins, both should be approved. I would, however, go with the advice of not sending them together.
  8. And what is even worse on some lines is having to go through the smoke to get to the dining room.
  9. Yes, that does seem like an unnecessary risk to take. What were their plans if their request was denied?
  10. The problem is the immigration authorities in the country in which you intend to disembark. You are no longer just a cruise passenger in transit, but are actually in their country and need to be cleared.
  11. It would have been 20 for me if I had discovered this site when we were booking our first cruise. It was a few years later that I somehow came across it, so it has been 16 years.
  12. A reason it has to be approved is that you would have to go through immigration in Poland since you are no longer just in transit. As well as no refund for the unused cruise days, there might be a charge for this.
  13. I hope all goes well for you and especially your son. 🤞
  14. Maybe the poster who stated it was a new low was taking inflation into account. 😉
  15. And there are passengers who will also not do private tours, only ship excursions. When we had our Baltic cruise in 2007, we had a very small roll call. I contacted the major private tour companies for St. Petersburg and was most comfortable with Alla. My DW picked one of her tours, and I then asked others on the roll call if they wished to join. The only couple that did not join stating they would only a Princess excursion was actually a couple we had met before the cruise as they lived only one town away from DW's mother on Long Island.
  16. Probably true for all cruise lines, not just NCL.
  17. Yes, that would be interesting to hear, especially from someone who had a previous Baltic cruise and could make comparisons.
  18. Yes, as has been previously posted there are different rules for cruisers from the UK than from the USA due to different laws about what must be included in the stated price.
  19. Agree, but it is so much easier to blame it on the government. 🤦‍♂️
  20. I think more would prefer smoke free cruises, or at least a smoke free casino.
  21. 23 Things Cruisers Love to Complain About (cruisecritic.com) It is amazing anyone ever enjoyed a cruise. 🤣 And guess what is not mentioned in the article---Covid protocols or lack of Covid protocols. 🤦‍♂️
