I’m not an IT professional but have managed companies that have done similar projects and we would always run in parallel to make sure things work before switching over. I know this can be expensive and time consuming but now they are damaging their reputation.

Viking seems to have the longest final payment period of all cruise lines when they allowed 6 months never mind a year! I guess it is working for them?! The Tripmate change to include vouchers would be a positive!

Sorry if this has been answered already, but if you bring wine on board at embarkation, do you have to carry it on with you as you embark and get scanned or can it go in your luggage that is brought on board by the crew?

I thought Veranda Plus got priority embarkation? Doesn’t look like it.

You can wear any type of collared shirt for dinner in the restaurant or Manfredi's/Chef's Table but I would think people only wear hawaiian or polynesian shirts in the appropriate regions of the world. But again you can wear whatever you like to wear!

I guess they will see if people are willing to pay more!

We like the buffet on Viking because we could eat outside. This is my first AZ cruise coming up in May. From what I have seen you can take your food from the buffet and eat outside - is this correct? Also, do they come to serve you wine out there as well or do you have to come in to fetch it?

If it’s on the same ticket it should be checked through to NZ from Miami. Any time there is a connection there is the possibility of lost luggage but I would still check it through all the way.

Typically shut while ship is moving because of the wind. One complaint- can be over air conditioned at times. But usable almost all of the time!
