I had a look at the Malt Shop website a couple of days ago when the 2023 sailing was still showing, and it says that NA is scheduled to leave at 5, so we'll see how accurate the Port Everglades website is. L.

ms Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 26 from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, and she is leaving on a 7 day Chartered “Malt Shop” Southern Caribbean, and ms Eurodam will be at pier 21 from 5:45 am to 5 pm, and she is leaving on an 11 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. Just had a look at the new menu, and don't see gnocchi anywhere. I was on the Rotterdam in February, and we ate at Canaletto. They had, I believe, short ribs with gnocchi. Speaking as an Italian, they were crap. I want my gnocchi to be like fluffy soft pillows....but they were doughy and dense. The only meal that I was truly disappointed with, but I'm hard to please when it comes to gnocchi...I was spoiled by Nonna! L.

I'm going to post two separate videos: One is Room 4191 on the Koningsdam, sister ship to the Rotterdam. We had 3 rooms side by side by side, with the dividers open. You can see just how big they are. I'm also attaching a photo of 2 people (DH and DSIL) sitting on the deck...We regularly had all 5 of us on our deck most evenings. L.

Wow....If I had all the problems with booking directly or dealing with non-existent PCCs, I would go with an independent TA, or one that works for a smaller chain. You may not get hundreds of $$ in OBC, but gosh, they can not be worse than half of what I hear on this site. If nothing else, they are there to solve your problems...missing excursions, negotiate if there's a price drop, etc. Unless you have a GOOD PCC, (and even then, there's no extra OBC just for booking thrown in w/PCC), I see no reason to book through HAL. L.
