I sailed on the Symphony last Feb, (reduced capacity).. but we left our hotel by bayside at 1030am, and we were on the ship by 10:50am, they are really good with the check in process.
Well that sucks.. my father has no clue what whatsapp or snapchat is .. lol.. nor does he want to.. so have to think of another way to communicate with him.
I have sailed on Royal and bought the internet package and was able to use wifi calling to make calls, without getting any roaming charges, does Carnival have that with one of their internet plans?.. if so which one?
Taking my 1st carnival cruise in feb, and there will be 4 of us sailing, we plan on doing self disembark, the question I had is I arranged our transportation to pick us up at 830am, is that enough time? or should I push the pick up time to 9am?
Yes I know.. our friends decided to do Uber.. I chose the shuttle service.. they arrange my return trip to the airport also.. no issues and they were on time and quick.
We are doing the same thing but just getting a shuttle to cocoa beach,, plenty to do without needed a car.. there is a trolley that goes around cocoa beach, you may want to find a hotel near one of the shuttle stops.
Thanks for your detailed review of the pros and cons.. we actually never see any of the shows.. we are more of a get up late, hang by the pool drink kind of people and see a comedy show at night (maybe) and chills at the bars.. we don't like to plan anything on the cruise.. just go with the flow..
I reading all these experiences and it's making me nervous, I am taking my 1st Carnival Cruise on the Mardi Gras next year, usually sail with Royal,, and now I am wondering if I am going to like it. I am sailing for the ship, not the ports.
