  1. We were able to get the red Viking lanyards from Guest Services for our card. They are the same ones that they use for the QuietVox. They will punch a hole for you to attach the card.
  2. We are using get your guide in a few weeks for this tour. https://www.getyourguide.com/kotor-montenegro-l32202/kotor-perast-old-town-and-our-lady-of-the-rock-boat-tour-t128505/ Ours is a 2 hour tour and is similar to the tour dd57 referred to. Get your guide has other longer and more extensive tours. Unfortunately Viking wasn’t offering something comparable.
  3. We brought Splenda with us on our trip on Sea in March because on our previous trip on Jupiter there was none to be found. That was the first time that Splenda wasn’t available on any of our Viking cruises. It’s probably a supply issue, so you can’t count on what will be available for your particular cruise. If it’s important to you, it’s best to bring some along with you.
  4. When we were on Sea in March, they had Splenda in yellow packets.
  5. The opportunity to use ACH for excursions closes 30 days before departure. You still have to check out and it's fairly quick that the money is taken out of your account.
  6. Disregard as you wish 😊. Sounds more cheap than savvy to me.
  7. Wow! You really did that? There seems to be a thin line here between “savvy” and “cheap”. How many bucks were saved taking a cab to the airport, etc.? @FlyerTalker I hope you’re kidding.
  8. DH and I have had several spa treatments on Viking and in our experience none were really great. We never had that feeling of, "Wow, that was nice." Having said that, my best manicures have always been on a Viking ship.🙂
  9. Unlike American and Canadian cultures, there are many countries where it is considered rude to tip.
  10. On all our Viking cruises I think I’ve only seen one person smoking out there. However, on our last trip, there was a man who got on the elevator who had obviously spent a lot of time out there. 🙂
  11. We have never had a problem smelling smoke on deck 8, not even on our balcony.
  12. That would be a fun way to get to know your neighbours! 🙂
  13. You have to get the tag off between cruises. Otherwise, you'll have to go looking for your laundry!
  14. The hairdryer always works @Jim Avery@SantaFe1
  15. We've stayed in 8000, 8001 and on our most recent trip last month, we were switched to 8010 due to a maintenance issue. No issues with 8000 and 8001, but I wouldn't stay in 8010 again. Like molymoo said, there was noise during the day from the sports deck. I think we must have been under where they dropped the ball.
  16. In the land up over they are also called thongs. Try explaining that to your teenagers. Been there!!
  17. You're going on a different date. We're going NZ through to Bangkok. But I'll keep you up to date on any hotels I think are worth a look.
  18. I haven't done that research yet either lol. But I'll get to it soonish.
  19. It says it's by the Princess Wharf. I haven't done the research yet.
  20. We are also going to NZ in 2025 and although we aren’t doing the pre extension, we are going to use the same hotel that Viking uses: M Social Auckland
  21. @Vineyard View We will be in Koper in May with Viking and we have booked this excursion with GetYourGuide From Koper: Piran and Panoramic Slovenian Coast Tour
  22. We recently stayed at El Colonial and we liked it, as long as you don't mind that there is no elevator.
