Actually your incorrect the story was made up as confirmed by the police and P&O, but if you prefer to read unverified reports so be it.

This is how the clown incident took off on here, someone posted something which was a fabrication and we had a great debat on falling standards on P&O ships, I prefer to wait till there is actual verification.

We are considering doing a back to back in the Caribbean on Britannia for my retirement, only decision we have to make do we book it onboard on our next cruise or wait till closer to the time.

TUI are your first port of call but they make it extremely difficult we ended up contacting them via twitter, after that payment was received.

No problems with your personal concerns we all have them, but the point is and it as been noted on other sites how anti P&O are on this site

We are going on Arvia in October with no views just hope we enjoy it like we have done on countless holidays, I know my views are against the majority on here, but after reading on another site that so many have had a good holiday over Christmas on her, obviously Christmas day aside, but they compensated them and made up for it on new years so at least they admitted there mistakes.

Nope it wasn't even remotely perfect nobody can say otherwise Christmas was a complete let down for those involved, but when they say people got off the cruise I read the same thing on our last cruise, it turned out to be the entertainment crew swapping, I have booked on Arvia this year so I joined another site and there was a more balanced view the good bad and the ugly.

The op said he wanted to but didn’t I wanted to leave work today but didn’t, I just did a search cannot find the articles about the injury if you can put a link up, and I am a member of the Arvia other site forum and strangely members who was on that cruise Christmas aside had a good cruise, it’s not being defensive of p&o because I have no loyalty to any cruise line, I just like a balanced view.

It hearsay about people asking to leave unless your one of them and people being injured would have made the newspapers, the only thing we know for sure it was a very poor cruise for some.

I am surprised that there was not complete uproar amongst the thousands on board about the conditions.

Thankyou she is getting better, I being the hero whilst she was ill ate the same food as her to not to let her feel left out, I don't know who suffered the most.

Not really the point I am making, for the new cruiser after reading the post would believe we literally live on a few lettuce leaves on board ship but there is a good choice of food, my wife was hospitalised last year to the point I believed we was going to lose her, we had a list of items that she could eat and she was very happy with the selection she could have, so not really the case of I am all right jack more of the case it is not as bad as it is made out to be.

Nought wrong with chicken and beef as long as they are not on the same plate.

Like I said in a previous post that there was a decent enough choice for us, as for the vegetarian and vegan options that's the way the world is going, but I can safely say I have never hurt a vegetable and they should be allowed to live out there lives in a field.

The problem is if you had an extensive list of options you can absolutely guarantee someone would complain on not having there favourite nut roast on, we are not fussy esters we always found something we wanted to eat.

Just out of interest if you have a full English do they use higher quality sausages Inthe Epicurean or better bacon or you just like dressing for breakfast, me just slap it on a plate and if I remember I get a knife and fork.
