We were on Norwegian Jewel Panama cruise in Dec. We picked Antigua shore excursion with NCL and it was pleasantly a very nice city to walk on your own..

We did the Alhambra Tour during our Malaga cruise stop . This is a full day tour which is usually offered by your cruise ship shore excursion. If this tour is too long, Malaga is a nice city to walk around and has many other attractions

If your cruise ship is staying for more than 10 hours, you can try a full day tour. We did a private shore excursion "GRan CaNaRiA MAXXX No. 1 Tour!" with Simon tour It was cheap 69 euro tour that include lunch that cover many point of interests in Gran Canaria.

For Casablanca , we did a full day tour with NCL shore excursion that provide lunch and Moroccan snacks tea break. Usually a full day tour that include meals from cruiseship can be expensive but this one is relatively cheap.

I did Panama full transit cruise on RCL Serenade of the seas in 2021 and NCL Jewel a few month back .Both are still using the old locks. NCL Bliss is a bigger ship so there is a chance it might use the old lock but the old lock has been widen to accommodate the size of NCL Bliss

I got a chance to spend 2 days in Lisbon pre embarkation and disembarkation of my cruise in March. There is already so much thing to see and do in Lisbon. Visiting Pena Palace and Sintra or Lisbon can easily occupy full day each.

We did an inside tour of Pena Palace during off peak season and it was already crowded. Ticket need to be bought in advance as queue can be long. Even with a ticket, we have to wait for > 30 minutes to get into the palace. They are very strict with crowd control. Anyway, it was worth the visit.

I was on a NCL cruise with Olden in the itinerary last year. Olden is absolutely my favorite port. Private tour operators will be available right at the pier with a much cheaper price than NCL shore excursion.. If you are into photography, taking the skylift to see the entire fjords without taking too much hiking. As Olden is small village town, you can walk around or take another tour bus or trolley train to ride around for photography after your skylift or Briksdal Glacier tour.

I did a cruise with NCL Jewel a few month ago. Even though the ship was built many years ago but it is quite updated after refurbished during the covid period. The service was great and food was decent.

We did Panama Canal itinerary 3 times and still marveled at how the canal worked..Setting the technicality aside, it was always a great day sitting at the balcony enjoying the view and watching the ships passing by.

I find it is more fun taking the tram in Lisbon than HOHO bus as hilly, narrow and twisty roads are not accessible to the bigger bus.

If your cruise stop at Akureyri Iceland for 12 hours, it is worthwhile to take Jewels of the North Tour . After the tour, you can drop at the town and walk to the botanical garden which is free and near the cruise port.

Just visited Gibraltar in March.. Even though it is a small place, it is extremely hilly and you need to be physically fit to walk to different POI especially to the caves and tunnels. Glad to book a tour that bring us around. Btw, the weather could be freaky and the cable car service was stopped on that day we were in Gibraltar .

I went to Agadir on a cruise in March. It is an industrial port but not very far from town (about 15 min) but you might have to find transport again going to the souk or some points of interest. It is probably cheaper to get a private tour . The 5 hours tour I took only cost 20USD and saved me the hassle of finding points of interest.

Did a partial transit and 2 full transits (both direction) ..Still enjoy every experiences.
