  1. Sorry Sue, I’ve only just seen this, what a worry for you and them! Was there much damage to the car? The snowy weekend marked the start of a series of family issues here too 🥴
  2. Hello everyone There's way too many posts for me to catch up on but I hope you all had a good Christmas and a good start to the New Year. 30 weeks until my cruise and I'm trying to eat all the Christmas chocolates and biscuits before I start my diet 😏 I've missed browsing on here but life got busy and a little fraught for a while.
  3. I booked a superior deluxe on this cruise at the end of May '22 and there were no aft or mid aft cabins of that category available back then, so went for mid forward. Prices have increased slightly since we booked, £59 pp.
  4. Hello all, I’ve just dropped in to wish you all a very happy Christmas! I hope that you all all keeping well. Life has been a bit mad in our family lately so I’ve not had much time to myself. I’m hoping to find time to read through lots of posts that I’ve missed in a few days time.
  5. Yes I admit i am the same with tennis, but at least the big tournaments only last a fortnight each 😁 The whole family enjoys watching tennis even the 2 &1/2 year old 😂
  6. Yes I am! My son has watched every game so far, not just the British teams. The 2 England ones he watched at the pub with friends but the rest he’s watched at home. Not so bad when I’m out and about, or looking after our little one, but there’s been 8 games on just this weekend 🙄 Apparently there’s no morning matches after Monday 👍🏻
  7. On no, how disappointing for her! I hope she makes a good recovery.
  8. Nightmare! They don’t like being told 😂 Mum was on her own in the house and climbed on a chair to put something away, stepped down and slipped on the cats feeding mat & went flying 😳
  9. Not intrusive at all 😊 Yes I’m pretty sure she has been checked for that. Until this year she hadn’t knowingly broken any bones and used to joke that she bounces.
  10. Thank you, we won’t be with them to help if she’s in a wheelchair for this cruise and they’re travelling with friends with mobility issues. We absolutely can’t believe she’s done it twice in the same year! Kalos, let’s hope she stops at 2, she’s had several telling off this evening 😂
  11. Well, it’s 7 weeks until my parent’s next cruise and mum has broken her foot again today! It’s the same foot, but not the same bone as earlier this year. She under strict instructions to rest it completely as it took months to heal last time.
  12. Carcassonne is one of our favourite places to visit, although we haven’t been for quite a few years.
  13. Two hours must have been horrendous for you. When I had mine I didn't know that it would be noisy and I wondered what on earth was going on when it started up, I had to be face down which wasn't pleasant. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!
  14. What a wonderful experience! Oh Holy Night is my favourite carol
  15. We really liked our deck 9 mid-aft conservatory cabin, we would happily book it again. My sister had a deck 10 mid aft standard balcony and has booked a cabin in the same area for next year. The only problem we had with the doorways was not being able to get mum's wheelchair through the door (not an adapted cabin)
  16. I think you need todays day off after all that! 😂 My son has taken 2 weeks off work and intends to watch every football match that’s on, there’s 4 today apparently 😳 It’s going to be a long 2 weeks. I’ve been going through my Norwegian cruise photos from earlier this year and am putting a photo book together, it’s taken me ages but I saw last night that Snapfish have a 50% off offer that finishes Friday, so I’m desperately trying to finish it before then 🥴
  17. Good luck Michelle, I really hope you get a place on the trial!
  18. Ooh just the thought of hitting it makes my toes curl 😳😂
  19. Good to read as we have our first ever 2 week cruise next summer & chose to go to the Canaries 🥴 😂
  20. I’ve had it for years but it only flares up occasionally. This time was worse than normal but is improving now. It’s right over my wrist so I would think they might try to drain it before operating. I’ll probably call docs if I get another bad flare up.
  21. Hi. I'm here 😊 I couldn't log on for ages either, it was quite frustrating. I can't type much either at the moment, I have a ganglion that's flared up (too much lifting of our 2 year old I expect) so I can only type with my left hand, so short messages only.
  22. You need to go to reception on ship and ask for a missed port letter.
