  1. Happy to help. As I mentioned these are one of our go to cabin choices.
  2. That would be wrong. I had several conversations with senior US management on this very subject.
  3. I am sure some will chime in on the bacon comments. Carnival cruises are always fun, they thrive on that. I have to echo the other poster, I actually have never encountered a negative employee, but that is me. Some other comments on your questions. In terms of the limited (bacon) and how busy the pizza was, and the cheapness comment, Carnival is 30 Bill in the hole. Some things had to give, these might be a part of that. Timing on food options has always been there. When the cattle grazing begins, it continues until the food disappears, simply a fact. Other cruise lines do similar but a little different. Thanks for doing the review. It always interest me when experienced cruisers try Carnival and their thoughts on the product.
  4. LOL, they are well aware of it. There is little chance of them allowing others into the area. The Havana concept has been a flat out home run for Carnival. Somewhat subdued with the change in location on the Wxcel class and smaller pool.
  5. Here is a link to the Mardi Gras (same for Celebration and Jubilee) which shows cabins for Havana rooms. https://www.carnival.com/cruise-ships/mardi-gras#deck-plans
  6. You can only use the havana pool if you book a havana cabin. This is controlled by wrist bands and attendants who work in the area. Most are balconies but there are a few inside, sure they go quickly.
  7. Op, the way I read your question is specifically on the excel (Mardi Gras, Celebration and Jubilee) class of ship. It makes a difference as others have alluded to by the class of ship. In regards to your wanting to be around fewer people pool wise, Havana is a the clear winner in any class. As others mentioned, Vista class Havana pool area is the better of Havana areas. Lastly, on Excel class ships, Loft 19 (for pay unless you are in an Excel suite) is by far the best option. You will have no more than 20 or so people around the pool, but that comes with a price.
  8. It is a singular action, one cabin, one offer. You can click on it, if you want take it if not stay where you are. Pretty simple. The majority are like for like usually different locations, floor, location.
  9. Pretty sure we can only be in one place at a time. 😀
  10. The real question is what is the significance to cruisers.
  11. I think you can sleep safely without worrying about that going forward.
  12. And it sure as heck is not proof either. How do you spell agenda?
  13. One cannot argue with the demand for Icon. We had clients that had to go out an amazing amount of months, and the price is ridiculous. That said, to each their own. They sure have put a whole lot of money into new ships. The market (RCCL) does have a saturation point.
  14. meh, comments range both ways. Some say Carnival is over priced (compared to the competition). Prices for the most part are not going down. Is the crowd different? I have seen nothing to suggest meaningful changes. For me (and it is not just cruising), life as we know it has changed. Society is reacting to what has been hammered down on them (you all can decide what these variables are that did it.).
