  1. There is a reason that an overloaded boat is out floating in the Caribbean Sea. Nobody gets picked up that does not want to. I have witness three of these. In every case (and I am sure it was the case here) once spotted they were asked in they needed assistance. It is a requirement, but I am sure our local expert could chime in.
  2. Totally agree. So many good options.
  3. I have been begging them for years to do what they are now doing and for more. Hope it comes to pass. We are on the same page.
  4. That is why options are always a good thing. For the record, if and when they do this, the segments would in all likelihood not be months at a time, but more like 3 to 4 weeks.
  5. We have been on a couple of cruises where they did, 11 on the MG, but nothing close to this amount.
  6. John just posted on his FB page. I have never seen that many people rescued. Coast Guard and others notified. On their way to Roatan.
  7. No dog in this fight, but my comment to you was you missed the point. His job is get and engage people engaged in Carnival discussions. Just like you and I are doing now. I can tell you that some of his topics are things that they do in fact discuss. Did he say it was def going to happen?
  8. Tons of options, if it happens I would not be shocked if they had more home ports (more segments) than their competitors do.
  9. His job is to be the brands spokesperson. he does that very well. We are here discussing his comments…check
  10. Now that is interesting. We also noticed a fair volume discrepancy in terms of amount of lobster between ships.
  11. Really. Have not done a TA and wondering if it is a normal occurrence.
  12. We have used VIP shuttle many times.
  13. He frequently is tied to ships from Tampa (near his home) so he has had a ton of Spirit class experience. All that said, I agree with both assessments.
  14. We did a two week journey cruise on the Legend 6 months ago. Love the ship. The Captain gave daily talks and he displayed a love for the ship (and the Spirit class) as well.
  15. You might get on a half hour earlier, but I would not do it. I would go over the latest you can, and play the side to side card in the earlier than reservation check in line. We have done two side to sides but not at same port. Good luck and enjoy/
  16. Thanks, understand that, but was not sure reading the post…
  17. Great start to the review, thanks fpr taking us along. Nice to see a 110 outlet near head of the bed. Saw your pic with temps, outside temps were consistently in 60’s while you were on land?
  18. It has zero to do with their hearing ability and totally about the finances to a decision. I have no idea what you are referring to clientele.
