I purchased 100 shares @ $9.85 and with my $250 SOBC I’ve essentially doubled my money. I’m happy, and I’ll be happier when I have a cocktail in hand and looking at waves.

I believe it’s a fare of $60

Walk 2 blocks north to Bell St. and the cruise terminal will be at the end of the street. There is a skybridge with elevators that will take you right to the terminal, maybe 20-30 feet from the elevator.

I just dropped off my brother and SIL at Pier 91 for Celebrity Solstice, they had a 2 PM boarding time, but I dropped them off at about 12:30, they were in their room shortly afterv 1 PM, I was able to drive to the pier, drop them off and left the pier about 3-4 minutes later. YMMV, but it was a very smooth operation today, and Ovation of the Seas was there as well, an even larger ship.

Anticipate a later arrival into Vancouver than what is posted, BNSF owns the tracks and freight trains always have the priority, and in the warmer months the bridge crossing the Fraser River is open a lot, and marine traffic always has priority. Now, if you have a boarding time of 2-3 PM you’ll probably be okay, I just wouldn’t count on that 11:50 AM arrival.

When I was going through chemo I took Natrol ginger extract gel caps and they worked wonders for my nausea, I hope that they can work for you as well, I think I’ll be on the same cruise (Sept. 30?)

I want to say, you did an excellent write up of that. I’ll be on the Crown Princess in Sept ‘23 with my 88 yo Mom, and I have a much better feel for what to expect on the cruise, all because of you. You have provided an amazing service, and I hope you realize how high in esteem I hold you.

It’ll probably be cold leaving SF for a couple of days, but the further south you go, the better the weather. A lot depends on where you’re from as far as what ‘comfortable’ is for you. My ideal temp is about 71 degrees, but friends of mine from the south are wearing sweatshirts if it’s that ‘cold’. If you have a puffer jacket that packs small (Uniqlo sells some affordable ones) I’d throw it in my bag.

I’ll be with my 88 yo mother in Oct. in Maui, and I don’t think she’ll enjoy a long line. She may enjoy a piña colada or mai tai across the street instead. Thanks for the heads up so I can plan accordingly.

What did you use as proof of your stock ownership? My statement only had my account # on it, but I went to the Fidelity office and they had me change my account name of my name (versus a nickname I had for it) so that my name was on statement. It went through pretty quickly that way.

You can frequently save more money if you book a vacation package from the airlines. A vacation package can be just a flight and a rental car or one hotel night. Look into it as the fare you can get from the package is cheaper than anything you can get individually. My example: in 2021 we got 3 RT FC tickets from SEA-HNL and 10 days of rental car (that made a package as we had a condo) for less than the lowest priced RT FC tickets.

I took a picture of my application and my Fidelity statement, emailed it this morning, and I have the credit now. Pretty slick. I won’t do this, but what would keep someone from selling the stock before the cruise?
