  1. This is how I feel when I wear a Polo and jeans on formal nights.
  2. This always confuses me it isn't like your cabin isn't going to be there for the rest of the week. Getting their first doesn't really do anything but I diegress.
  3. I sailed Symphony back in 2018 but I didn't like that experience was just too big. And went back to what I was comfortable with, Now I am at the point where I want to try new lines and new ports and new ships. Plus the Perks do not really reward loyalty but Carnival will always be home but its time to try new things.
  4. I think guest behavior is more linked to the length of the cruise in all honesty, the 3-4 day cruises are going to be straight-up party cruises as people are escaping for a weekend and they will be hammered from sun up to sun down. I feel like once you hit the 6+ Day cruises it tends to weed out the guests who would probably cause issues.
  5. Not quite on your amount of Cruises with Carnival Greg but yeah it is time to try other lines and see what is out there. I only have Vista booked for now.
  6. HAL is still a bit on the older side for me but I don't begrudge anyone that sails them.
  7. I made Plat on Carnival, Perks don't really get any better from here in all honesty.
  8. I agree that Grandeur is small and older but for the price point I can't really complain and she is pretty comparative to Paradise.
  9. I have recently decided to start booking other lines as I am getting really good deals while Carnival is charging me 2x-4x what other lines are. This isn't to say Carnival is losing my business completely but I refuse to be one of the customers that subsidizes it for the Casino rates. Not to mention other lines are throwing me good deals and it is hard to pass up these sailings. I have booked Grandeur of the Seas out of Tampa in Sept for $800 for a seven-day cruise while that same time frame and port is 2k for me to cruise on Paradise for two fewer days. I truly don't understand the pricing that Carnival is throwing my way. I also booked a ten-day MSC Cruise out of PC for 1k while a Seven day on MG is again 2k with three fewer days. And Finally, I have booked an October Alaska sailing on Encore out of Seattle for just under $900. I still have my NYE Cruise on Vista booked and if I hadn't already paid that off I might have not kept it if these cruises on other lines go well. I also realize the grass isn't always greener on the other side but for the amount of money I am saving I will swallow whatever differences I might dislike compared to Carnival.
  10. I usually stay on the ship in Mahogany bay in all honesty. It is kind of sketch leaving the port area by yourself.
  11. HM will only have one ship in port...... Hal owns the island but its ships are smaller but with Magic there the other three will not be there.
  12. Or ya know just don't climb the railings and or jump off of the ship.....
  13. Sail Away parties on Carnival are probably the best of any cruise line along with the comedy shows. Carnival is also a very laid-back atmosphere when compared to other cruise lines. I have Saild Royal and still prefer Carnival.
  14. The new menus look amazing honestly. I have always liked the food onboard anyways so this is just a plus.
  15. To be fair I think the Glory Captain was drunk and just wanted to create a Glory hole.
  16. Whoops, I am late but here I am. Another amazing Live from tx as always.
  17. I always do the steakhouse at least once a Cruise, I was disappointed with the portion sizes as they have gone downhill but still well worth the cost to me as it is less then what you would pay on land for the same amount of food.
  18. Hopefully Virgin actually shows the game unlike Carnival :X
  19. See Free Alcohol doesn't do anything for me lol, But if free soda is included i am down lol.
  20. Yeah the pricing for Virgin is absurd. That is what has kept me away so far.
