On our date it lists our anchorage as ANR. I haven't been able to figure that location out yet. But It doesn't show pier #2 as being used that day, at least not on the port schedule I was looking at. Not that we can change anything and we will make the best of it ,but the tendering will definitely cut into our time ashore. We will have our 13 year old granddaughter with us for her first cruise so we will rethink a couple of things here. It is all apart of the adventure.😀

Hi, I do not have an answer for you as to the efficiency of tendering here but was curious as to what sailing you are on. We received the tendering notice last night. We are on Koningsdam, Aug 8th in Ketchikan.

Hopefully you were successful. Last week our final was due. I did not want to try and wait till last minute on the weekend. so went online and tried in the afternoon. Tried 3 times and each time after I had inputted the CC info and hit, pay button, the HAL system would log me out of the website. After three tries I contacted our PCC via email with just an hour left in her day. She got right back to me and we paid over the phone. We had never had that kind of issue before but never trust HAL's site on a weekend especially with a holiday.

@VMax1700, Thanks for your reply. Checked all my filters then looked again and on the page that pops up showing the different cruises in Alaska in Aug 2024 for the Koningsdam, it doesn't show the Aug 3rd cruise. But now found that if I click on the "view 4 dates and fares" it shows the Aug 3rd date. Then when I click on it I get the "error" page not found message.😬....so sent an email to PCC asking about that and got...We see that same ERROR you are seeing so sending it to the IT dept. to check out. Thank you for your time in checking it out and replying.

Hi @VMax1700, Thank you for the time and effort to put out this info. My question: The Koningsdam Alaska voyage K449, Aug 3-10, 2024 has disappeared from the HAL cruise planning listings. Do you have any info as to why that might be? We have it booked and can see it in our bookings. But it has disappeared from the HAL main page. Thank you

@Pylon, yesterday my Seattle based PCC was out of office. I needed some info so was directed to call the PCC number and get the PCC that answered. It was answered by a nice young sounding PCC in the Philippines(I know cuz I asked). She was definitely newer and had to put me on hold several times to ask her supervisor questions. It was definitely a call center as I could clearly hear 2 to 3 other people talking to other customers about their cruises. She worked hard but eventually we all agreed that I should wait till today to discuss with my more experienced Seattle based PCC. I know someday my experienced Seattle based PCC will be gone and have no idea where my next PCC will be based. Not looking forward to starting over with a new PCC, no matter where they are located.

Do you have a verandah/balcony? Those sound like the HAL blankets in clear zippered cover's that they provide for your use outside or actually wherever you choose. Nice blankets...

Hi It has been awhile since you posted this. We are wondering if you sailed and if you used the vista suite sleeper sofa? We know about the veranda rooms and sleepers. We are looking at a cruise on the Koningsdam in a vista suite with sleeper sofa , with our granddaughter. I have looked all over HalFacts and these threads(could have missed it) but have not come across a description or photos of the room with the sleeper set up. Several questions: With the sofa/bed in use can you get by it to the bathroom? How much room is there between it and desk? Can a 5'6" person sleep/fit comfortably on it? Looking for that type of info.... Thank you

We have three bookings for 2024, April then August then October.... As of this last week, the $100 OBC for veteran is showing on all three. Showed up Automatically.

take the 16 year old to the state/county/ whatever office. Get a state issued photo ID card. Takes a couple of hours. Don't worry about the drivers license.

I had to clear Cache(not data) AND uninstall then reinstall. Then it worked...

As @HAL4NOW said, its your choice....I leave my address for HAL but definitely black out the account number, They actually say to black that out. Also, I black out all cash amounts, summaries, etc...I just leave the TD name, dates showing this was just printed, my name and address, and then the CCL line with number of shares...that has always worked...
