  1. We love the sky suites, I say go for it!
  2. We had that happen to my husband and I years ago. He had cleaned our room, said goodbye and left. We didn't notice he locked the door, probably out of habit. Neither of us had our phones. We had to yell to the people above us, which lucky for us was where the buffet was. A lady heard us and said I will go get help. Then she asked us if we wanted her to throw us a banana in case we were hungry(it was breakfast time). Security, our room Stewart and the hotel manager came to our suite. They were all so apologetic but we just laughed and said we were fine! They continued through out the cruise to check on us!
  3. I wish when people find a price break and they get a reduced price they would mention the cruise date and name of ship. Even though I know it could effect different sailings would be interesting to see where people are getting the reduced amounts. Just saying...
  4. We always ask for specific pillows and never have a issue.
  5. I think it's because they are over worked. Once a few days pass and we say hi a few times they seem to relax and enjoy a daily how how are you!
  6. We agree and we are always cordial to anyone that takes care of us on a cruise. It goes a long way when you are nice to others. So I agree with you, nice to say hi and give appreciation.
  7. They usually introduce themselves within the first 24 to 48 hours. However we have noticed on our last cruise that they were super busy. It seemed like they were shorthanded. Our room steward was working sometimes to 9pm. He always looked exhausted.
  8. They changed it starting with Beyond and we liked it better. However service on Beyond was very, very slow.
  9. We had canapes end of last year. Has that changed, if so no big deal to us.
  10. We have always loved Eden. The steakhouse has been hit or miss on Beyond (2 cruises) but was great on Apex. We are trying it again on Ascent if it isn't up to our expectations then we will stick with Eden.

  12. You should be, we traveled with 6 friends last year and had issues getting 2 of them linked to us. No way to know until you get on the ship. If you can't figure it out either the iLounge people can help or someone at guest services.
  13. Yes you can use the app to message each other without purchasing wifi. Sometimes it doesn't always work correctly but if you have issues the IT people can assist.
  14. The issue isn't the price, the issue is people are paying it! Same with RC new ship Icon. The cost for an Inside cabin is crazy! However for now they are selling. So if they can get the $$ they will. To answer your question no it's not worth the price IMO!
  15. Thanks for the review. We just received in the mail a large brochure from Oceania and we were thinking of trying them. Maybe we will keep looking at other options. We love the Edge Class ships but the prices and what you get for it are a bit crazy.
  16. Bring your own. Cruisestitch is correct the ones they provided are not that great.
  17. We use both. At night we read what's happening the next day!
  18. Check your app everyday to be sure you dont miss an event you might be interested in. We love the Edge Class ships. Also Eden restaurant at night is excellent for dinner. Love the shows.
  19. We have done a Christmas cruise in the past and loved it. Go for it!
  20. The process works great if most abide by their arrival time. We always show up near our time and have no issue.
  21. My husband is a musician. We always sit in the balcony, middle section, and never in the way back. Usually no issues then!
  22. We board her in April so please let us know what you think. We love Beyond and Apex also.
