yes we had a "fayre" on the Marina in November...it was a lot of fun.....staff worked hard to create a very congenial atmosphere.... we didnt win a prize but sure had fun trying....

sailing in a suite on Celebrity is a VERY different experience than sailing in regular balcony cabins....but paying for a suite is often more than being on O..... but then even in a suite you are still subject to kids that are out of control...and a vibe that often is classless...yeah bring on the flames... a very different clientele sails on O..and we love it....having done 50 or so cruises on C....the last straw was watching a wall going up in the dining room to separate those that are in suites and those that are in steerage..a totally different menu......the offerings for the lower classes no longer edible.....disgusting....it became a very class oriented cruise line...we had enough....just too bad it took us so long to "jump" ship.

is the pizza different in Waves than the Terrace...I dont like it in the Terrace...it looks good but isnt...

ah...guess no more virgin gorda baths for us....yes remember climbing all those slippery slopes...and loving it...now not sure it would be a good idea.... thank you....

did you go to the Baths at Virgin Gorda...we were there years ago....we are a bit older now...lol....is it still pretty accessible?

some say it is not possible to adjust the gratuities to what the TAs have given you...we may test that, if it is no longer covered....

some say that is not possible....we will see if we need to ....

the diehards here say it wont happen...remains to be seen....

so its complicated, will have to check it out at Reception....can picture the long line ups just for this....

We have on some of our booked cruises gratuities included from our TA...with a dollar amount attached to it, based on the existing rate...wonder how it will be affected with the increase...

and the best to you as well....yes you will be out there enjoying yourselves in no time....

gratuities are much more than 100...and they were all automatically deducted... since this is a common occurrence it seems, I will just forget about it...

yeah all kinds of weird stuff going on....

oh yeah, its subtle but sarcasm nevertheless.... I dont need a bowl of cream...nor a bowl of jam...but would have liked a little more jam...to ask and wait...not that important.... it was very good.... just wish I had more time for the tea...the lectures were fabulous and would not miss them and tea was at the same time in the aft.... kudos to O for bringing in top notch lecturers...I am a history buff and rarely learn anything new, but did this time...

looking forward to meeting you...we will be on Jan 4, leaving on the 3rd...Pearson is a mess....as per usual....they will say it is weather related for the next 3 months...then it will be some other excuse...bottom line, they have NO workforce....

your not so subtle attempt at sarcasm....not necessary...it is that kind of behaviour that makes people turn to other forums for discussions.... as for the supporters, I would not encourage those kind of responses unless you want to further deplete the number of people who post on this forum....perhaps that is your goal...have the forum all to yourselves so you can just pat each other on the back, constantly..... and NO it is not humour....unless you cant tell the difference....
