Royal's deployment flyer suggests week of 1/5

The deployment schedule would suggest the first week of May.

I'm guessing we'll find out in a month or so. Australia 24-25 for Royal goes on sale first week of May

Are you sure about that? I've had 2 cruises on Ovation this summer, November to the Islands and went to NZ last month. On both occasions, we were told there was no need for passports and we only needed the incoming passenger cards

Must be a ship based thing. On Ovation last week, generally 3-5 per night, some with a backdrop and others not (photo's with The Via, Esplanade etc as backgrounds)

Can't comment on all ships, but on the Ovation cruise that finished yesterday morning, a comedian joined the ship on Sunday in Wellington. R rated show 11.15pm Monday night and family show Tuesday night 7pm & 9pm before the cruise finished Wednesday morning.

If a cruise line doesn't pay their crew proper wages and expects their paying customers to top up the crew members wages, is that cruise line cheap?

I got off Ovation yesterday morning. Statement was in my emails at 4am today. Also had a print out in my room about midday Tuesday, of course can also be checked on stateroom TV & app at all times when onboard

From reading another forum, those on board seem to think it's a case of Chris being in iso with Covid more than the AM being promoted/Chris having left for Wonder.

Not to be pedantic, but Captain Espen took over Ovation on the 16/11 (not the 4th), and he took over from Captain Sverre Ryan rather than Captain Rumen

Only showed up in the last week or 2 for my February Ovation cruise.

I'm on the overnight on the weekend of 19-20. The travel summary in the eDoc's suggest tendering.

Looks like there's quite a few of us on 16th.

I'm on the 16/11Ovation. Boarding opened the morning after the day it was supposed to at about 2am. Earliest available check in time was at midday, however the early times got booked up pretty quickly.
