  4. Yeah, I get that. They may be better off just buying CruiseFirst. The rest of us have no problem understanding the simple premise that you pay $250 for CNs and that when the cruise is over you'll only pay $125 each. Just ignore all the OBC chatter. It's just noise. Each of my last cruises I've just walked up to the CN desk and told them both DW and I wanted to buy 8 CNs. We each signed one place and that was that. Actually, on the last one, I signed for both of us and DW didn't even have to make the trek. It took no more than five minutes. I will be interested in hearing from the first Guinea Pig who applies two CNs purchased after the change to an existing booking during a double up.
  5. We've bought 32 CNs since July, and I never encountered a single hoop. All but two are applied via double-up promos to future cruises. I'm just waiting for more 2026 itineraries to post. 😎
  6. I've sailed NCL to AK April, May, July, September and October. Never had a bad cruise, and I would (and certainly will) sail NCL AK any time that the ships are sailing. Do you favor a slightly less crowded ship with less families? Avoid summer months. Do you favor a better chance of warm weather in ports? Focus on the summer months. My favorite all time AK cruise was probably the one in late October (last sailing IIRC) when it snowed in Glacier bay and we had rough seas sailing back into Seattle. That's my idea of fun cruising. It was also our first cruise post Covid and we had Alexa on the Piano. You really can't beat that.
  7. There is no risk in that fare. I'm sure you realize that you need to double it for two and add port fees, taxes, gratuities and DSC. That said, I'm a sucker for rock bottom inside base fares and book them early and often. If the balconies drop, I'll upgrade. If not, I'll still get a fine shower, nap and sleep. That's all I need from a cabin.

  11. I prefer a lanyard around my neck with Ship Card and passport card enclosed. That gets me anywhere I want to go.

  13. Did you miss that post (quoted above) where the OP simply refused to provide the rest of the story? That might have been your first clue. BTW: "suspicious minds," while a great Elvis song, is not what we are dealing with here. There are other words that would apply though....
  14. They certainly will, and have done so many times. The OP is confused and refuses to spend 30 seconds to screen capture and paste the full details of his original invoice, instead insisting on posting only what is allegedly the "final full payment price." We have no idea if that is true and/or if other expenses were included (such as prepaid DSC, airport transfers, trip insurance, etc.). This continuing refusal to provide the facts suggests to many of us that we're just hearing a story.
