My experience is the same as @julig22's. I've taken advantage of such deals multiple times. IIRC, every time NCL cancelled one of my bookings post-Covid, they gave me another 10% off FCC deal.

Percent off deals can generally be applied to any reservation prior to final payment due date.

Nah. I was just being a smart aleck. I thought it would be obvious to many that as a frequent steerage passenger, I've never had the services of either. So, I NEVER tip them. @RocketMan275 apparently understood, so I've got that going for me.🤣 I've never found this "wrong side of steerage" of which you speak. That said, I've seen folks that apparently got up on the wrong side of the fancy rooms a few times.

So do you folks actually read the contract(s) for every booking?

I'm guessing the "point" is for the majority who can't go to the beach anytime to be able to easily visit a very nice safe beach while on holiday.

Actually, they used to have both hash browns and country potatoes. They haven't replaced our beloved hash browns with anything. Yes. I'm complaining about that. Probably my biggest complaint about NCL for a long time. Yes. Life is good and I can't wait for my next NCL cruise, hash browns or not.😎

After a few days of eating constantly, I really don't care what's for dinner. If what the MDR serves me is crap, I'll just grab something at the local. No worries. Breakfast is only a few hours away...

Our iPhones will normally send and receive text messages while attached to the ship's wifi but not using internet plan minutes. Many here have reported the same. That said, every cruise seems to have times when NCL's wifi breaks down and won't do anything for a while.

Some don't need to be forced. The last thing they want to do is to sit on their cabin's balcony and miss the fun of being on the ship.

We did it once. It was free for two of us. It was worth about that. You may see more wildlife on the bus....

If a good friend was paying half the cost of my cabin, I will gladly share half of my itchy-and-scratchy bucks with them. If I don't like them that much, I'm not sailing with them. In fact, if my name is first on the reservation and we take a Shorex together, I'm going to pay them $25 to offset my discount.

Why are serving portions even in the equation? If you're still hungry, order more. Same price!

I got off the Spirit last Wednesday. The pizza in the buffet was the best I've had on NCL. They've gone to a slightly thicker crust that actually has some flavor.😎 Also, the "noodle soup station" (or whatever they call it) was great. They had a lot of good stuff. If I want a good burger, I go to the local or MDR. I sometimes get soup and salad at the buffet before joining DW and DD at the MDR for lunch. They like to get off the ship and shop and I like to stay on the ship and eat/drink/chill/gamble. win-win!
