  1. Last time we were on Valiant Lady it was approx 2pm to 5pm then 9pm to 2am, but for Resilient Lady it just shows in the app as straight through 2pm to 2am with no break.
  2. anything you can get for free at the fountains from the Galley is also free at all bars and restaurants.
  3. Based on the other ships it’s the same hours. Only Razzle Dazzle and The Wake are open for brunch anyway, the other choices are in the Galley food court and are open same times on port days.
  4. Deep Blue Extras coffee has to come from the Grounds Club locations, not Ship Eats. but you are better off ordering something charged for, tea, beer, red bull etc will all be better than $7 for nothing.
  5. I think the one reservation per person per show would be the simplest answer.
  6. Drip coffee is 24/7 in the Galley food court. the Grounds Club locations serving barista made drinks open at 7am to 8pm or 9pm.
  7. Don’t get too hung up on comparing VV to other cruise lines. Personally I’ve never don’t any other cruise but VV feels more like a hotel resort to me than what I perceive a “cruise line” to be. In terms of status, other than the rockstars having Richards Rooftop there is no separate areas or any differences for those with Sailing Club status. Just the listed perks.
  8. I don’t think it does, but others have reported otherwise. I’ve always just dropped into the show late and got stools at the back or stood so don’t know if they scan bands at the start time.
  9. Always try for standby. But the shows in the Manor like around the world with the diva and the hostess sings don’t really need reservations but you may be stood at the back.
  10. See if your travel agent can get help quicker?
  11. I didn’t do it, the post is by someone else on this board. Pretty sure Virgin refer to Grog Walk as a Pub Crawl too.
  12. This post has pictures of the drinks offered in Grog Walk
  13. The 10% off is emailed as a discount code.
  14. It’s possible to manage without a bottle even, there are carafes and glasses in the cabins and can easliky get water at all bars etc. but I did like having my insulated bottle to take water out into the port stops too. coffee cup is up to you, I just drank it while in the Galley food court, a mug just before breakfast and one before leaving too. As tacocat said there is toiletries in all cabins, screwed to the shower in regular rooms and medium size bottles in suites. In fact those bottles in suites are some of the only plastic bottles on the entire ship!
  15. MNVV is My Next Virgin Voyage. When onboard or up to two weeks after you can put down a deposit of $300 towards a future cruise and you get $300 bonus discount and $600 onboard spend (loot). Only catch is you need to book sea terrace or above, not lock it in rates or sea view cabin. Sea Rover is the current loyalty status of those who have done two cruises in 2022-2023.
  16. I’m also on Resilient Lady in three weeks!
  17. We did the Med to Miami transatlantic last October and the night the ship stayed in port overnight at Malaga there was taxes on drinks but looking at the folio from the trip I don’t see any others that appear to have added taxes.
  18. The 2-4 cabins right toward the front of the ship on some decks don’t as there aren’t enough attachment points.
  19. I think now that the Carribean cruises are more fully booked they’ve put the price up of the activities as they know they will sell out anyway. $50 feels a little high though for the class but as they don’t hold many people I expect they will sell out anyway.
  20. It’s worth it for the bathroom set up. XL feels like a normal hotel room bathroom rather than a ship one.
  21. You can take two bottles of wine in your hand luggage. Simple spirit and mixer drinks are $9, cocktails $10-17. I think I paid $11 for an espresso martini last year but I’ve read some prices have gone up recently.
  22. The current discounts only run through to April 2024 so yes some cruises after then might be higher prices, but almost every industry constantly changes their promotions. And yes they are a new line so they are trying to work out the correct pricing for certain itineraries.
  23. 24 hours before. We did it 9am before boarding the ship 2pm the next day.
  24. All transatlantic cruises are relatively cheap compared to standard itineraries, you basically get the week at sea for free on a TA.
