  1. I did sail in 2021 and my Sea Blazer badges is purple and clearly obtained. Other badges haven’t launched yet so all shows greyed out.
  2. Are you sure their badge isn’t greyed-out? If you sailed in 2021 then you should have the badge, for others it might appear greyed out.
  3. If you have a cruise booked there should be a link when you are logged into the website or app to buy bar tab. It won’t show the right bonus before purchase, just the standard $50 but it should be correct after purchase. Or you can call them to purchase.
  4. Just a minor thing, The Dock generally only does afternoon service not evenings. Social Club (hot dogs and wings) goes into the evenings. Also pizza stops between 6 and 9pm.
  5. Espresso martini is my go to. I had it at Sip but other bars might serve too.
  6. On the app. It can be possible to walk up for standby, but it’s best to book. Fitness classes go first as they have very very low capacity though.
  7. The to-do list is all in the app, most communication will be to the person who booked but you will be able to see everything in the app and you both need to do the checklist separately in the app.
  8. As above really, more reservations open once onboard. walk ups for dinner depend on how many passengers are onboard, once it gets over 2000 it seems to be much harder. full service breakfast/brunch can be reserved but often easy to get into as a walk up, The Galley food court doesn’t need reservations. I’ve never had a major issue although have eaten at 6pm once to try and get to a show as there was a lot we wanted to fit in one the last night.
  9. Terms of the offer are here https://www.virginvoyages.com/cruise-deals/our-2nd-most-inclusive-offer-ever assuming it is within the terms I think it just gets confirmed after purchase, it doesn’t show in the checkout.
  10. When Scarlet Lady launched there was only shelves in the closet space but they refurbished and converted some of the shelves to drawers. There is plenty of storage in my opinion.
  11. There is currently a special offer of up to $600 bar tab, this is for everyone who books by end of Feb no matter status. https://www.virginvoyages.com/cruise-deals/our-2nd-most-inclusive-offer-ever
  12. That’s odd as the FAQ on the website states it is 18 in international waters. https://help.virginvoyages.com/helpportal/s/searchresult?userInput=What is the drinking age on board#reload it’s possible that they are doing 21 on all Caribbean cruises now and 18 on the European cruises though.
  13. Just an FYI it isn’t Moet at the Sailaway, or most of the other events. Rockstar suite guests get a Moet hour each night, but for the regular guests it’s Saint-Louis, usually the rose https://www.vivino.com/US/en/saint-louis-88086-saint-louis-rose-sparkling-sparkling-v-rz7bm/w/4603537 just wanted to mention it in case others start expecting Moet when actually it’s just the cheap stuff. personally I much preferred the cheap rose compared to the expensive Moet Brut.
  14. The “free” cruises won’t count towards gaining status, so couldn’t be used as one of the two to get sea rover level. But think once you have status you do get the perks on them.
  15. I’ve never done grog walk so find it a nice busy of sailaway, dinner, change and then PJ party. But if you really want to do grog walk then yes it can be a busy night and you might want to go for a quicker dinner.
  16. You can order bottles at the bars. It might be possible to order via room service too, they have bottles of wine on the room service menu.
  17. We did late lunch after boarding and booking shows. Then safety muster point check in. Went to the sailaway then dinner and the PJ party. But I’ve never done Grog Walk and didn’t feel a need to. Personally I think the sailaway is a must do, seeing the ship leave port is nice, also the Happenings cast introduces themselves and there is a lot of free sparkling wine.
  18. On the October westbound transatlantic there was about 1400 but some left at Funchal before the Atlantic crossing. The ship never felt busy though.
  19. More reservations will become available on the app once you board. I suggest doing a placeholder dinner before boarding. Then once onboard getting shows booked in and moving dinners to fit round them. Allow 90-120 minutes for many meals.
  20. They already have, the Karma Chameleon advert seems to mainly feature people 30-55 and the couple it opens on look to be 45+, the engagement couple also 40+. I think that video is pretty reflective of the actual experience on board, just with a lot more choreography!
  21. Until the end of March they are matching with other lines loyalty programmes and giving (more) benefits. That is changing in March and no-one knows what the new loyalty program will be from April onwards.
  22. There is a DJ at the main pool most afternoons, usually for 2-3 hours but they might have two separate sessions. The jacuzzi pool will be a bit quieter and then the Athletic Club area at the aft of deck 15 will be quietest. The transatlantic did have the DJ on the pool deck too. The Dock on deck 7 had live acoustic guitar most afternoons or just more chilled music.
  23. This sounds incorrect. Currently you need two sailings between January 2022 & March 2023 and I think someone has just mis-read that. It’s already been said as part of the red hot booking months last year that the new scheme will be based on tokens earnt from spending, not just pure number of sailings.
  24. Not sure what they had at the Galley but the grounds club coffee bar definitely had soya and oat and maybe more. I was drinking oat cappuccinos.
