There are rooms that sleep three either on an additional single or a pull down bed. But she might prefer a room to herself anyway.
-
It’s all per cabin. One laundry bag, one $100, one $10 per day on coffee. the only exception is the drinks party where obviously both guests get as much sparkling wine as they can drink.
-
If it helps with the maths, standard spirits are $7 plus a free mixer. Cocktails $10-16. Beer $6-12 wine $6-12. Latte coffee $4.

No, all tables are for six or eight and normally seat at least four. You might be able to get a table for two if they aren’t busy but it is unlikely unless you are willing to dine at 9.30pm. Depends how busy the ship is and which restaurant but it can be possible. Especially at 6pm or after 9pm. But I would recommend getting reservations to start with and only trying for walk up if your plans change. Spirit and mixer is $7, mixed cocktails $12-16. Glass of wine $6-13 generally. some bar menus here https://profcruise.com/virgin-voyages-bar-menus-and-drink-prices/

we bought the regular hammock, same as on the balcony except in black, white and green. I’m guessing if they had the two-person it probably was a stock issue.

We bought a hammock on Scarlet Lady, but that was back in 2021. Maybe it’s a stock issue?

Anyone can message sailor services in the app. Although depending on the query in person can be easier for certain tasks, but we messaged on the app for a load of things and get replies within 15 minutes or so. Having the loyalty status makes no difference to being able to message Sailor Services in the app.
-
the wording of “rockstar agent” is out of date, the website is correct those with loyalty status current get a dedicated sailor services agent, not access to a rockstar agent.
-
that’s for those in suites. with the Deep Blue Extras its just a member of sailor services dedicated to all those in the loyalty club.

They haven’t changed significantly to anything you find only. A couple of dishes have been swapped out but 80% of each menu is the same as 18 months ago.

Bar tab must be bought the at least day before boarding to get the bonus. Cannot be sorted out on board at all. Once onboard you can just spend and it gets billed to your card on the last night like a hotel.

It’s a bit quieter by the wellbeing jacuzzi pool. Generally the DJ is on by the main pool in two or three hours blocks, 12-2 or 2-5pm or similar. It’s listed in the event line up as DJ on deck.

Right now on Virgin there is no separate levels of status really, you are either in the Sailing Club and getting the perks or not. It’s expected to change in April and be based on spend but no one knows what the new perks will be or what tiers there will be.

Splash of Romance and Deep Blue Extras don’t alter the arrival time, they just give you a seperate line once you are in the terminal building. Depending on the time it can save 20 minutes of queuing, but the queue isn’t that bad.

I’ve definitely had an hour of free wine (got about four glasses) on our four voyages, but it might have changed since October.
-
The party (ie the DJ is on) is about 90 minutes I think but the free sparkling wine is only one hour.

Celebrating birthday onboard? “One to remember“

I got a happy birthday message on my dessert in Pink Agave. -
Yep the booking site doesn’t make it clear, the main advantage in an XL is the full size bathroom.

I think the drink prices are fairly reasonable, $7 for house spirits and mixer (gin &tonic, vodka & cranberry, rum & coke etc) and no need to add 18% tip on top. Mixed cocktails $12-15 isn’t too bad and beer $6-10. Bar tab means you get at least $50 added to every $300 prepaid, but that can only be spent on drinks (including coffee). Water, soda, drip coffee and standard juice are all free everywhere, bars, restaurants, food court. the pool is big enough to lounge in but not swim. If you need two singles consider an XL terrace room instead, beds can be set up in an L shape. I don’t think going rockstar adds a huge amount but the cost is much higher.
-
Yep I’m really not that into Moet. Especially when $100 would get me 14 vodka & Sprite instead.

What’s going to be revealed on 1-6-2023?
jon81uk replied to OfTheSeasCruiser's topic in Virgin Voyages
That was a Seriously Suite (rockstar level) room. Not sure if the chair is standard, a lot of extra red things appear in the video that aren’t always there. @Tacocat I think has stayed in that room type? -
I’m pretty sure it was only one shuffleboard table? But I agree the layout with it in the centre of the social club is better. The whole social club space isn’t well laid though, the counter is too big considering it really only serves hot dogs. I love it as a space and what it offers (board game selection is fab) but just feels badly spaced out and some bits are under-utilised.
