  1. All technicalities aside, we are happy the vaccine and test requirements are in the past. We sailed in October 2021 out of Athens and needed to show negative test before boarding the flight and before boarding the ship. Very stressful. Then May 2022 we had to do test on our own before boarding showing negative results…funny (not) we caught norovirus onboard and left with Covid. October 2022…we paid for an independent test before boarding…and, YAY, a few days before departure, testing requirements to Canada were lifted. So glad that is behind us.
  2. I have not found that to not be possible with FAS+.
  3. Following. My PCC told me we could upgrade to Streaming on the FAS+ promo…but both DH and me would have to do it. I’m hoping once onboard I can upgrade his only to streaming.
  4. Yesterday I was having issues with both NCL.com and the app. Last evening I was finally able to log in. Did not clear cache or cookies but did delete and relaod the app (which wasn’t the answer). I am able to log in to both still today…so maybe it’s a rolling fix.
  5. First cruise post pandemic, October 2021. NCL Jade to the Greek Isles. Athens, Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Athens. We were blown away with the ancient history. We did Athens on our own pre and post cruise. We stayed in Platka and everything was within walking distance. Favorite excursions were Delos in Mykonos and the ancient Olympic grounds and museum in Olympia (Katakolon). Here are a few pictures: Acropolis at night from rooftop of Hotel Plaka Bridge of Lions on Delos Nike, Greek Goddess of Victory in Olympia Blue Roofs of Santorini Parthenon at the Acropolis in Athens
  6. I said I would report back. $280 DSC, $662 Excursions and $60 payment towards cruise. Triggered the $200 rebate today. So, you can do excursions to get the rebate.
  7. $200 for $1000 spend. Still nice!
  8. That’s too funny. About 10 minutes I was reminiscing about that slide. I LOVE that slide, too!
  9. Yes it tracks multiple transactions. Congratulations on your email.
  10. Yes, this looks like it should work.
  11. I just did three transactions for our cruise in May. $280 DSC, $660 shore excursions and a $60 payment towards the cruise. This is the alert I got from Amex. I will report back in the next few days if it triggered the offer rebate.
  12. Oh wow…did you get the offer??? That’s awesome if you did. In the past it has been reported that Delta Amex hasn’t got the offer. We have 4 different Ddlta Amex card’s between DH and myself and never seen the NCL offer.
  13. For clarification…offer ends 12/29.
  14. See @Russiamomm post #29. That might be your workaround as long as your onboard card on file is not your Amex.
  15. Just be careful using the OBC for cruise next certs due to the non-refundable OBC you will get…especially if you have prepaid your DSC. I can’t quite wrap my brain around how it would work…but something is whispering to me that you could leave $$ on the table from that NR OBC from cruise next . Wishing you good luck.
  16. If your Amex is a Delta co-branded card you won’t have the offer.
  17. I know it says that, and I totally understand your worries…but it does trigger the bonus. Also, it doesn’t have to be one charge, it will track all NCL purchases from the time you add the offer until it expires on 12/31. Thanks for posting about the offer.
  18. I’ve used it for NCL excursions and it has worked….it comes through as a Norwegian charge.
  19. I need to check our Amex cards! It has been my experience that it looks for the NCL charge. A cruise first cert comes through as a NCL charge so it should work, no problem. You will know fairly quick as Amex will send you an email once the pending charge posts congratulating you on using the offer. just checked…I have the offer on my Amex EveryDay Card. Yay,
  20. @mscdivina2016 you are entitled to your opinion. Being on an NCL board there is going to be more “WHAT?!?!” comments. IMO, we recently cruised MSC outside YC and I think NCL needs to take note. We loved MSC experience/ value even though we were only in a Fantasia Balcony. The YC is really a consideration, but we’ve not yet gotten to that level of attentiveness…however YC is certainly within our budget.
  21. OMG what a beautiful cabin…and that bathtub w/picture window. I hope you’re a bath-kinda guy! Looks like it’s gonna be sun EPIC cruise. Bon Voyage 🛳️
  22. Footloose, Choir of Men, SIX, Jersey Boys, Donna Summer, Beetlejuice, What The World Needs Now, Swing, Velvet are musicals produced in-house, but have licensing fees. NCL does have some of their own productions, especially on smaller ships, that do not have licensing fees. One I am familiar with is Blazing Boots on the Jade (not to be confused with Kinky Boots which was a licensed musical).
  23. It is my understanding that after final payment in order to upgrade it is the cabin cost…not any of the additional add-ons. Is there a spa club balcony available that could be an upgrade consideration. if you stay in your OV cabin you get no OBC for the price drop. Since you booked through CAS, I don’t know if your fare would qualify for a FCC for price difference of OV price. You should check with CAS. if you add OBC to your account it is refundable.
