  1. It's so good to hear that Silversea has decided to adopt the Carnival cruise dress code.
  2. Let us know the percentages in tuxedos, suits, etc.
  3. Darn security cameras though...
  4. I think there's a very large amusement park like an hour away.
  5. I'm thinking the mountains of NC
  6. I didn't know you were a Chippendale
  7. Just join in the conversation. Clearly they want everyone around them to participate.
  8. I'm dying to get somewhere cooler.

I didn't say the vegetables couldn't be slathered in cheese and butter.
  11. Are you sure you aren't on one of those *special* cruises?

Ah, but if you don't eat them life will get even shorter.
  13. With very few exceptions, just follow James Bond's lead.
  14. I've seen their tuxedos, and they are respectable. The vents on the jacket are on the side, rather than the single vent that business suits have, so that's acceptable. The only problem is the jacket pockets do have flaps, but if you just tuck them into the pocket no one can tell. Anyone wearing one will fit in just fine. No one can also tell whether shirts are bespoke or not, as long as you buy a decent turn-down collar, cotton tuxedo shirt that's fitted properly. Tuxedo shirts shouldn't be monogramed, unless maybe in a white on white monogram which no one would be able to notice anyways.
  15. I am soooo biting my snarky tongue... Definitely spend the little bit extra for the specialty cleaning while onboard.
  16. Have a wonderful trip!!! So jealous...
  17. Your history of cruising is probably how a lot of people get into it. Same with us: when kids were little, it was the Disney cruise line. Once they were gone, we switched to Silversea. With the massive new ships coming out, there really isn't a need to get off those megaliners. They are resorts in and of themselves. My son was telling me about the new Icon of the Seas which is coming soon, and it sounds like it is a combination of every resort on the Vegas strip.
  18. Key West is definitely worth getting off the ship and bumming around the town. Lots of wonderful places to eat and drink. Cuban food is a wonderful idea (I just had Cuban for lunch today!). Freeport: good plan. There isn't much to really see or do. If you want to go to a beach you've got to do an excursion. Half Moon Cay: I've never been there either so I can't respond Nassau: There is no way to walk around the Atlantis resort, except for maybe the docks and the little Junkanoo village, or use the beach without a day pass (which are pricey). If you want to go over to Paradise Island, your best bet is to take a taxi.

At least you get it out of the way early. Like eating your vegetables.
  20. So Targaryens shouldn't get passports.
  21. I like Cable because it doesn't have the waves. LOL To each their own. Of course, give me Old Fort Beach or Lyford Beach any day...
