On Apex, the brownies in Eden cafe! Also there was a special dessert every day in the Oceanview at lunch.

I too am a tech dinosaur. I print out all my Celebrity documents for boarding at home so don't use the Celebrity App at all. I fly Southwest Airlines so I prearrange for a family member or friend to check me in 24 hours ahead, and I pick up my boarding pass at the airport.

A lot of ships no longer have a library (for example, Apex).Does Summit have one? Thank you for replies!

When are you supposed to inform Celebrity to get this discount? Have always informed Celebrity agent of eligibility for Military Discount (frequent cruiser) and have never been told about this bonus!

How many days out can you select a check in time?

We had an Aft Port hole view balcony on Apex and thought there was plenty ocean to be seen through the opening. The balcony itself is small but big enough for two to sit on. I'd go with that category again.

On Apex in January, 2023. Have been on 50 cruises on various lines. This ship ranked at the top. The food at the lunch time buffet in the Oceanview was the best we've ever had at a ship buffet, especially the desserts! Ate in all 4 of the MDRs, no speciality dining, and enjoyed the service and the food. It was nice that you could order an item from another MDR menu that you had really enjoyed on a previous evening.The evening shows were all very entertaining! The walking track is unique, and we found ourselves on it a couple of times everyday.We had a marvelous time! Hope you enjoy your cruise as much.

On RCI you can contact rcidining through email prior to cruise, does Celebrity have a similar email address?

We went to the bar in Eden, close to our end of the ship and not crowded, at least at 5:00.

We were on 1/7/23 Apex cruise with a 6:00 Traditional Dining time. (We thought!!) No such thing anymore on any E class ships we were told when we went to MDR as soon as we got onboard! So we made reservations for that evening for 5:30. We would stop every evening after we finished our meal, go to the next dining room of our choice of the four and make our reservation for the next evening, always at 5:30 that way we could make the 7:30 shows.

I will have too much onboard credit on an upcoming cruise. Don't want to buy shore excursions or items onboard. Have heard of a way to get onboard credit through limited casino play.How is this accomplished? Thank you for any advice.

In June 2022 we had to take a Covid test 2 prior days to boarding to get into Bermuda on a cruise. Is that still in place?

Stop by Eden at lunchtime for a brownie. Delicious! If you can't eat it right then, they put it in a paper sack for later.

There is no Traditional Dining on any of the E class ships anymore. Learned this on our 1/ 7 Apex cruise even though our documents said we had 6:00 TD.

On Apex 1/7. Best food quantity and quality in the breakfast and lunch buffets we've had on our 52 cruises with various companies!

I commented on this matter on the after cruise evaluation sent by email from Celebrity as I also observed guests not cleaning their hands before entering Oceanview on Apex and the staff standing there not encouraging them to wash.

Years ago RCI had themed nights in MDR.

Eliminating the 6:00 Traditional Dining with the same waiters every evening may be a deal breaker. We'll see on our 1/7 Apex cruise. Our reservation states we have 6:00 Traditional dining, but have learned through Cruise Critic (no notification from Celebrity- a sore point with me) that it's been eliminated. We have 52 cruises with various lines and enjoy the special little services of having the same waiters, and reward that with extra gratuities the last evening. We'll see how it all works out in just 2 days!

Can someone kindly explain the advantages of FCC and also the advantages of putting down a deposit on a specific cruise on Celebrity? Thank you!

Don't have access to an App. On Apex 1/7. Will I automatically be given a daily activities sheet each night at turn down, or do I have to request it from the state room attendant as I do on RCI? Thank you.

Even though you can't get into room until about 1:30, can you drop off your carry ons in the room after boarding on Apex?
