I take extra dessert back to cabin for later. I also make a sandwich at breakfast to take on excursions since not all include food. It really helped this past cruise.
Iโm enjoying reading this thread. I am a Holland A loyalist but have become open to O since a neighbor mentioned they are going on a cruise in the near future. Aged out of RCCL and husband and I prefer quieter experiences .
I stopped going to the afternoon tea. The quality and quantity of the sandwiches and scones have been so poor since after the pandemic. So sad because it was so yummy.
The Lido has some varied hours on days when in port etc, due to early tours. I found it helpful to read the next days planner every evening so I would know when eateries were open the next day. And no one ever stopped me from taking food to my cabin when anticipating late morning or afternoon snacking needs. I packed a sandwich from Lido when my tour was going to be long or was not including food. As long as I donโt have to cook or clean, I am always a happy cruiser!
On my most recent cruise 7/29 to 8/12, my TA contacted me a couple of days before cruise and said HAL contacted her offering us an upgrade to deck 6 from 7 and mid from aft. All good for us, nice mid ship. BTW, only 3 star mariner at this point
