Okay so I guess I won’t be “jumping ship” to Celebrity

So I can do my home test free from govt and upload photo of results?

Since testing within 3 days of embarking is still needed, do I take a home test and take a photo of the results and upload to health form? boarding Oosterdam, March 10.

So do you think I can take just my carry on for a 14 day SAmerica cruise? I really want to just take that and not worry if my luggage takes a detour!

I received the emails, 4 in total, after a 7 day NS cruise in Nov. I already have 2 14 day cruises planned but I don’t think I can use the credit because they are not new bookings. After these 2, Planning a family cruise with younger generation and toddler so will be using different line. Hate to see “free money” go by the wayside.

Sorry to hear the food was so awful. There needs to be more consistency with the quality. One week it’s good next week it’s awful, across the fleet.

Not a fan of the LOUD music either, I am an audiologist! But give me HAL over the mega ships any day!! Plenty of quiet places to sit and enjoy our time at sea.

I am not a frequent drinker of alcoholic beverages, one margarita a week for me! However, I bought HIA and enjoyed trying a cocktail each day that I would not think of making at home. HAL probably made money off of me but I had the smallest bill at the end of my cruise ever in my years of cruising, and I felt that the cost of the cruise was great to begin with! Happy cruising to all in 2023 and beyond.

While on NS in November, I did see people in shorts, casual etc turned away from the MDR during dinner. I was pleasantly surprised

Good idea to book specialty dining before hand, better choice of times and days. Same with shore excursions.

I agree HAL is not my first choice if I were traveling with children, teens, etc. There are many more cruise lines that cater to the younger crowd. that being said is why my husband and I like HAL! When we start planning a family trip we are looking at Disney or Celebrity.
