  1. Bowm had it right first , is on the track from Strahan to Queenstown, which is the Wilderness train in Tassie. You used to be able to do a full day trip the full length but now areas of track in disrepair and full trip is suspended indefinitely, you can do part sections only.
  2. I've seen these before and always thought what a good idea - both for space saving and water conservation. Australia, land of drought - always wondered why they haven't caught on here. Sorry for interruption..... back to truck location.....
  3. ah, so crocodiles? which of course are the NT and Qld ones, not alligators. Proserpine river, Qld?
  4. so maybe somewhere with alligators. NT or Qld?
  5. .Yes, Holyhead is the way it is spelt in English Caergybi in Welsh Like places in Australia which have Aboriginal names and English names, places in Wales also have indiginous names in Welsh I guess the docks where big ferries leave from are industrial areas - sky looks grey, cant remember the temperature, this photo was taken back in 2013, but can't have been too cold as I am outside with short sleeves on
  6. Correct. On the ferry at Holyhead, Wales, to go to Dublin, Ireland. @Bowm54, your turn
  7. This is almost right but the photo is not taken of the ferry in Ireland.
  8. Me waving is a common theme in these 🤣
  9. A long drive west of Sydney........... Is it part of the Devils Marbles ( Karlwe Karlwe) in the NT?
  10. Sydney! Circular Quay! Or maybe The Rocks! but actually no idea.
  11. Well you are both right. It is Porthdwidden Beach which is in the town of St Ives, Cornwall which of course is in England. I guess qbay was more specific. Have the next turn.....
  12. I know this one. Is at Aileron, on the Stuart highway up from Alice Springs.
  13. Is that the "Great Wall of China" near Blinman in the Flinders Ranges?
  14. Mareblu - did I read it correctly that the namesake place is closer to Tassie but not in Tassie?
