  1. When we were in Sydney we went to the SCG via public bus from Circular Quay. Very easy.
  2. To be fair to Scenic, when I said I wouldn't have a Starter, I didn't ask for my main to be done before everyone else's. Maybe they would if I asked. Didn't bother me though so I didn't ask.
  3. I think this is the case for all river cruises - meals are at a set time and served in sequence at same time I skipped the starter sometimes on Scenic too and just waited for main course to come when everyone else's main courses came out. Didn't bother me though, if I chose not t o have a starter I expected that to happen. Is currently a thread running on 2 seater tables - very few on any line. Both of above seem issues of river cruises in general rather than Viking specifically - and also seem expected things if any research was done beforehand.
  4. Yes, One of the caves on Halong Bay ( Vietnam) I can't remember which one so that will do as a correct answer.
  5. It still carries that name for new applications too - I just pretended to apply and that is what it comes up as - Coles Platinum No Annual Fee Mastercard https://www.coles.com.au/credit-cards/no-annual-fee click Apply Now and that is what it shows you.
  6. Yes of course different peoples usage will mean different things work better for them. What works for you mightn't be what works best for me and vice versa.
  7. You didn't upset me - but, to be honest, annoyed me a bit that you were telling me what annual fees my card had and that it charged $5 on international purchases when it did not do either of those things. I do not carry much cash around - I carry a small amount of cash and a credit card and most overseas trips I take don't require much spending Scenic river cruise, for example, is all inclusive
  8. It is literally called Coles Platinum No Annual Fee Mastercard.
  9. well, sure, there are other Coles cards that do have an annual fee - but when I said mine didnt, even without me saying which one it was, it seemed rather odd that somebody was disputing that and telling me it did. As if I somehow didnt know if my own card had an annual fee. 🤷‍♀️ Ive never taken a cash advance on a credit card, either in Australia or elsewhere, so cost of that is irelevant to me Your first post read as if purchases on the card incurred that $5 surcharge - which they do not. I dont recall doing so on my debit card overseas either - I dont spend much money overseas (as oppossed to pre paid inclusive trips) and I organise cash before I leave Australia (yes I know that has a cost too) and use a card for some purchases..
  10. Yes it is called, as I said, Coles No Annual Fee Platinum Mastercard Not sure where poster thinks it has an annual fee of $99. It does not have an annual fee. It has a $5:international cash advance fee - I never use my credit card to get cash advances. And, yes, a 3% fee on purchases - I use my credit card very little overseas so, competitive rate or not, that is ok for me.
  11. No, mine does not have an annual fee. It is Coles no annual fee platinum card And I track my purchases as I go - it did not charge that when I was overseas.
  12. well yes it is Paradise Cove in Hawaii - but please could we wait for the person whose photo it was to say so - just in case your guess was wrong and you've jumped the gun in posting the next one Just seems right etiquette to me. (unless we are waiting days for the person to get back here) Ok, carry on.....
  13. well that was a lucky guess - I had no idea and just googled cities in Chile and picked one.😁
  14. I have a Coles mastercard that has no annual fee. Not sure how it compares for international spending - in the scheme of life I dont do much international spending so any costs incurred in that would be way less than $96 per year for me.
