Was just added to our AMEX card also. I guess we will be applying a $1000 payment to an existing booked cruise.

We were on a Baltic cruise in 2017 which had two overnights in St Petersburg. A couple of days prior to arrival there they had a large pop up type store set up with various items from Russia. So…it has happened in the past.

I believe per the above posts the cruise ended Saturday.

We were recently on Sirena in a PH suite. There was a clothes line in shower and there were bars of soap.

I’ve had some darn good ones in Florida.

Personally….we have an upcoming cruise which stops a couple of places in UK and have done a London to Edinburgh train vacation a few years back. I really think if goal is more immerse yourself in the UK a land tour would be better. We definitely plan on doing that sometime in the future again. A few hours for places like Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin in my opinion being on a cruise does not do them justice.

Just so I understand….so a Mexican restaurant in Sacramento would be better than one in Las Vegas because California borders Mexico and Nevada doesn’t, despite Las Vegas being closer to Mexico than Sacramento??

Well they knew they were a long way away from their family so had to shout to make sure they were heard.

I believe a TA cruise is typically less expensive from what I have seen with the lack of ports and associated fees, etc.

But there would have been an invoice indicating the one cruise had been canceled.

Per the review, the poster is in their 70s, which makes it even funnier.

My take from it was Ember was fabulous and they apparently had no noise issues or I’m sure they would have reported on it!!! This may give our resident Riviera ‘cheerleader’ something to ponder. 😉

Just throwing this out there. Seen a few suggestions and theories to the cause of noise between cabins (personally did not experience it on our cruise) such as speakers on TV on back of TV….potential gaps where wall and ceiling meets behind the walls. If either of these are potentially the reason, what could be done to correct the issue AND how long would such a fix take? I do see that Vista arrives in Miami on 1/3/25 and the next cruise departs on 1/8/25. Could a fix take place in this short of a timeline?

Not even sure that would work. Disputing the credit card payment made to Oceania and removing that payment would be penalizing the entity that did not do anything wrong. Unless of course the TA has some type of proof they asked Oceania to cancel the cruise in December and they failed to do so.

I have no idea on any release. I’ll leave that response and where heard up to the poster who is making the claim. I was just pointing out there is an upcoming gap of a week as you had inquired when they would be out of service for a week as you had not seen it.

Appears to be a gap from June 25-July 3 of this year. Not sure if that is the date being assumed. Of course, the gap could also be a charter. 🤷🏻‍♂️
