  1. Yes you can call Oceania directly for excursions even if you have a TA. We always go that route.
  2. Per the thread on Bermuda, a “just considering “ poster.
  3. Cruise outlook…….it does what you have noted….I assume there may be other sites also.
  4. Perhaps they don’t enforce it, because, THANKFULLY, there is only one person (the nice wording) schlepping a big bag of booze to their stateroom when they are not suppose to. So, they let that one person (again, the nice wording) get away with it so they don’t have a mental break down over their cheap booze.
  5. Not totally sure, but I think if they are in a stateroom with two paying adults, they are charged the fee for 3rd and 4th guest fares. I have no idea how much that is..I’m sure someone with much more Oceania experience will be able to share more info.
  6. It was operational when I was in there yesterday as I was checking to see which excursions on one of my bookings were currently closed. Now of course I’d never book excursions on the site. Always quicker to just have them do it over the phone.
  7. They are showing for both of my booked cruises.
  8. It is my understanding they no longer have the Wine by Bottle package.
  9. It clearly states from 8-11 PM EST….which last I looked is not that time yet and not close to when they stated they tried. In addition, it clearly states the website will be unavailable during this time, nothing regarding many functions aren’t operation during times outside of 8-11 PM EST.
  10. I believe it is the Hotel Beaux Arts, one of the Autograph Collection hotels, which is part of the Bonvoy system. I know in NYC, they do some properties with 2 different Bonvoy properties located in the same building.
  11. Just in a department store here last week. Nearly half the mens shirts in the store were marked in European size. Store had signs all over showing the size conversion to US sizing. So if you want to sell you better find a way. Assuming this store indicated by poster in a tourist area so should expect some questions on it. If off the beaten path I could understand.
  12. You do get earlier access to reservations. Concierge is 60 days out while regular staterooms are 45 days out. Or perhaps you meant more?? Your comment was a bit unclear. If the latter…you are correct…no more.
  13. Seems like a great idea. In looking at them, looks like a PH2 would be about $2800 less and a B1 about $2000 less if booked as two. If my math is right.
  14. Based upon our recent cruise and our two upcoming cruises, a general rule of thumb seems to be the # of port days divided by 2 and plus 1 to get to the magic number. That has been the scenario on these three and all since SM. Again, just a general way to give you a decent idea…not sure on rounding in some cases but assume they would round up. Been my experience.
  15. It is not always available on a shorter cruise with limited ports.
  16. Actually meant to get into the fjords. I’m sure they will still go to Norway in some capacity. The fjord issue is posted many places regarding Norways new policy. Could it get delayed? Possibly, but appears they have finally settled on January 2026. As noted though, do your own research and make decisions on what you are comfortable with on it.
  17. Good for you. But the OP was inquiring about Oceania.
  18. Yes, my understanding is that those will be stopped starting in January 2026 except for more environmentally favorable ships….which Oceania ships at this time will not meet these requirements. One reason we booked a Norway cruise for 2025.
  19. I have to disagree. The letter that was attached to our invoice made onboard was very specific to the onboard perks and came from the person who booked the cruise onboard. It specifically stated the amount of our SBC and we had decided to use them on the booked cruise. It went over how the Best Price Guarantee works with the onboard booking and also how the one time change perk that comes with the onboard booking works.
  20. Not sure if works differently if booked onboard vs the 30 day prior, but when we booked on board we received our invoice as an attachment in an email. The email was actually in a letter format outlining all the other provisions.
  21. I think some of the confusion by posters, including myself, is in your original post you indicated you lost the prepaid gratuities because of the AMEX 10x promotion. This is why posters have been saying the prepaid were not combinable with the $300 OBC.
  22. That is the one I mentioned in my post above. Had a choice….the free grats or the AMEX OBC, not both. We chose the free grats since it was much more.
  23. We had received Prepaid Gratuities on an upcoming cruise via our TA. We also used two separate AMEX offers for payments on this cruise. We recently just had to make a change for an excursion no longer being offered. The updated invoice sent with that change still shows the PrePaid Gratuities included. However, We were not eligible for the $300 shipboard credits from the Amex Platinum cruise program because of receiving the prepaid gratuities.
