  1. We took this excursion last May and I would say definitely it ranks as one of our least favorite excursions. It’s just such a crowded place that people are always getting lost. And our tour guide deemed himself to be a wine expert and perhaps he was….but he went on and on while at the winery. And just as he was about to stop, someone (perhaps clueless as was quite obvious most were past their limit) would ask a question and on he would go again. And as stated….the wait for cable cars was beyond frustrating. There were 6 ships in port on our day.
  2. We took it out. They’re was a bit of a delay as they were finishing up some cleaning on balcony above us. When we had inquired about doing it day before he said sure, no problem.
  3. On our Sirena cruise in a PH suite in January the table was sufficient to have breakfast on the balcony. While not as big as the one in the stateroom large enough and was at normal table height for dining. In fact, we had breakfast on the balcony.
  4. The tour will most likely end up there and you are on your own to get down. That was our experience. We were there with 6 ships in port and it was not a fun experience taking the cable cars down. The line winded through the village and people were continuously jumping the line. It took approximately an hour and 15 minutes standing in the sun for most part.
  5. Which R ship were you on? Does it show them on that deck plan? As I recall on Sirena they had them as you entered also but they do not show up on the Sirena deck plan either.
  6. But you referenced a photo that appeared to show a lounge in the area before the laundry room. They are referring to the lounge you noted.
  7. Was any of this changed during the Riviera refit?? Not that I’m aware of so would make sense if not that it would not be changed on Marina, especially with the short down time.
  8. I also believe that the primary door to the kitchen is located on that side if I’m not mistaken and therefore the primary path for bringing carts in and out when getting the buffet ready and during take down.
  9. They are allowed, nice ones as you noted. We were on Sirena in January/February. Did not see them a lot but on occasion. Of course saw more in the Terrace and shorts there also.
  10. Regarding inoculation record…..we boarded in Trieste last May and were not asked to show any inoculation documents.
  11. Checked these two cruises from a USD comparison and about same change. 4899 vs 5099 so a 4.1% increase and the shore excursion credits are same for both at $600.
  12. Yea, I know. Just what those people posted. And they also mentioned to them it was loud when just the piano player.
  13. Well…..we’ve determined it is safe, as in non poisonous!!!!
  14. And when I said window open I meant the reservation window. You can go ahead and get signed into your account.
  15. A couple of seconds after midnight Eastern Time Zone. Don’t have the window already open before as it will act as if you were in there before midnight. At least that is what we have found to be the case.
  16. I can’t wait for the first thread after they change the name of Toscana to Giada’s! I’m going to go with thread title “ I will no longer cruise on Oceania because of changing Toscana name to Giada’s”. Of course they will start with they have cruised on Oceania 43 times and this will be their first post. 🍿🍿
  17. Nah, that will be the new name for Toscana.
  18. They were not all females on our Sirena cruise earlier this year.
  19. Yes, but they will still move nightstand and put bed in line with the bedside outlets.
  20. Have had it done before on Marina in a standard Veranda Stateroom. On Marina they were still close together but separate bedding. Not sure if bedside tables were movable or not, but if they were only real option would be to move one closest to the sofa due to closet configuration on Marina veranda staterooms.
  21. I bet they’re adding Jacques back in addition to keeping Ember!! A win-win!!😁
  22. Quite possibly could be!! 8 years later it still has not been located.
  23. Yes, no jacket. I’ve never worn one on O. I did pack one for my first O cruise but Delta decided to lose my luggage. So I took that as a sign….🙂
  24. Definitely saw people bringing a bottle of wine to dinner before. In fact, on our last cruise on the final evening leaving the GDR, two couples arrived and each of them in the party (4) had a bottle!! Perhaps expecting some more people but our minds went straight to maybe we should go back in and get a table close by!!
