  1. What Celebrity ship are you considering? When was your last Celebrity cruise? Few things that we like about Celebrity is no smoking in the casino or any inside venues. When you first board the ship you are allowed to go directly to your stateroom and drop off your carry on(s) and retrieve your Seapass card(s) at your stateroom. You are asked not to linger in the stateroom. Leave and wait until the general announcement is made that the staterooms are ready. Usually around 1:PM. Also if you purchase a Beverage Package the gratuities are included at the time of purchase. Not an additional charge when ordering drinks. We've never cruise with NCL so my comparisons are extremely limited and can't compare loyalty program perks/benefits.
  2. Thanks for inviting us in the Oceanview Cafe. We aren't huge buffet fans, but when we do go to the buffet(usually once and on a sea day) we try a few things that looked like what you showed. The Mast/Pool Grill is our go to favorite.
  3. Since we aren't loyal cruisers we sleep around and we don't chase the tier levels. We have always been happy with the perks/benefits associated with each tier level we have paid for. No matter the cruise line.
  4. We'll be packing for our upcoming 7 night September Edge Alaska cruise plus a one night pre cruise hotel stay with three checked luggage (26" soft side). 🤣
  5. The only time we could get a seat in O'Malley's on the Enchanted was when it was closed. 😉 Very popular place on our March 2024 Caribbean cruise.
  6. We were on the Enchanted for 11 days in March 2024 (Caribbean) and didn't see any of these issues. We commented that there was a staff member always cleaning or picking up after passengers. Even in the Vista lounge during the CC HH. Really no different from any past cruises.
  7. That was the idea when Any Time/Select Dining was first introduced. Due the popularity Celebrity started allowing making reservations. I disagree as I like the idea of making a reservations for AT/SD.
  8. Looks like a nice CL to have a couple of per supper drinks and a lite snack. Large windows with a view are nice, but...
  9. When a ship does an overnight, you can come and go as you please. Also refer to your Celebrity Today for any ship specifics concerning times.
  10. What's your exact sail date? I did a few mock bookings for February 2025. All depends on the sail date which of the three options are available. Already booked. Another option is when you first board the ship go to the MDR that is taking requests. Tell that person what your preference is and see if they will accommodate your request.
  11. Since your beverage experience is so much better with glass straws, why not just bring your own glass straws. That way it doesn't matter if the straws are plastic or paper.
  12. I know a couple of really nice Pinnacles that are also Zeniths. You would never know their tier levels by personally talking and hanging with them. 😉
  13. I elect to keep signatures turned off. I'm not interested in anyone's tier level, cruise history or upcoming cruises.
  14. You can't speak for others. I always provide answers on CC based on our experiences on the Roll Calls for the cruises we are booked on.
  15. CC is the only social media I subscribe to. If you enjoy that is all that matters.
  16. It's the person, not the tier level.
  17. Or to many with P and Z envy.
  18. Doesn't surprise me and we've never attended a Roll Call gathering. Another reason I don't post pictures of us on Cruise Critic or even mention Cruise Critic while onboard.
  19. Not in our experiences. Same with Celebrity and Princess.
  20. 3000 CC points is what it takes to make Zenith. Only Zenith members have pins.
  21. Very familiar what it takes to achieve Zenith. The numbers of Zenith just multiplied due to phase two of the reciprocal program. I'm not a fan of the reciprocal program. Celebrity's CC top three tier levels are going to experience what RCs CAS top three tier levels has been experiencing. The Retreat Lounge will end up doing what RC is doing in the Suite Lounge. Limiting Pinnacles based on the number of suite passengers for that specific cruise. I can see all cruises (no matter the itinerary) having an increase of Zenith numbers.
  22. We'll be on the Edge in September. I'll check it out.
