Agree, RC has screwed up their MTD with later start times. Our last RC cruise was a B2B, March 2022 on the Explorer. We switched back to early TD for both legs due to the late start times for MTD.

I agree, but we've never experiences that as we always have reservations (TD and SD). When we first board the ship we go to the MDR to select a two top in a location we like. Then we speak with the person handling MDR requests and we always have been accommodated with our request.

Keep checking for Select Dining to open up. If you decide to go with SD go to the MDR and speak with the person taking requests when you first board the ship. They possibly maybe able to accommodate your SD request time. If not show up when you want to eat and wait to be seated. Your wiggle time for TD early meaning showing up earlier or later than 6:00 PM? If so that's what's nice about SD with no reservations. Show up when you are ready to be seated.

I let the muster video run on the app while taking a shower at the pre cruise hotel. It's over by the time I get out of the shower and get dressed. Check in at our muster station when we first board the ship.

On Celebrity's website log into your CP, select your cruise, click on "plan my cruise", scroll down to "dining" and click on "view all dining". Scroll down to "Complimentary Dining", click on "Celebrity Select Dining" and click on reserve. Like with RC you will need to complete the reservation process for each evening before selecting additional evenings. On the app tap on the "person icon", tap "manage booking", fill in the reservation info, tap "find reservation" and scroll down to "main dining seating time", tap on that and select your dining preference and time.

Just gave it a go. No problem logging in and navigating our future cruises. Using a laptop, windows 10, google chrome.

Our friends went on a 7 Night Alaskan cruise this past June and had rain everyday. We've never been on an Alaskan cruise. We've got the Edge book for September 2024. Alaska Dawes Glacier Cruise.

I disagree. There is a lot of good entertainment on Celebrity ships, fleetwide. Early morning chair hogs scurrying about marking their territory. Evening chair hogs trying to save an entire row of seats in the theater for their entire group while fending off others who are trying to get a seat. And of course there is the buffet. People piling the food on their plates as if there was no longer going to be anymore food all the while running from one station to the other line jumping.

Now that is funny. That's what I've been saying along. No biggie. Time to tap out as this thread may just drive me to drinking and paying more taxes. 😁

We all do. I've been a CC member since 2001 and there are a few posters that offer some excellent info. No matter the forum or subject.

And that could be different from ship to ship, server to server. Over the years (2001) of being a CC member I can't count how many times I've read what one persons experience was and another persons experience was different, no matter the subject. Even on the same ship/itinerary.

No. Next cruise is October on the Eclipse. I'll be requesting a substitute or additional on that cruise like I have before. I don't like it I leave it. Our last cruise was March 2023 on the Apex and no issues.

Did you have one of the BPs or is this for buying your drinks? That's what it looks like that you didn't have the BP. My original comment was about buying a drink on the ship in Florida and being taxed, not Alaska.

Provide your source for Folio, where would I see it? On board, invoice? Pre cruise. Not seeing anything that indicates additional tax at specific ports. I see nothing in the itemized breakdown of our BPs that says, taxes. Built in but not in addition to the BP price.

Welcome to CC. Yes he can bring his golf clubs aboard the tender. Your carry-on luggage will be secured on the transport (bus, van) for your excursion. Private or contracted thru Celebrity.

If you getting the Premier or Plus BP your gratuity is already added.

Your TA would know that process and should have passed that info along to you.
