  1. Just pointing out a gratuity is added since you said "Our experience on the classic package was that when you ordered a specialty drink off the menu that was over $10, you were charged the difference". Maybe someone else reading that didn't know about the added gratuity. 🍸
  2. I start the muster video on the app while in the hotel prior to heading over to the port. By the time I'm out of the shower the video is over. Then complete the health questionnaire. Once onboard we go to our staterooms, pick up our Seapass cards, leave our carry on (s) and head down to our muster station to be accounted for. We really like the new and improved way of doing the muster drill.
  3. You actually paid the drink price difference plus a 20% gratuity. We've never upgraded either but our drink orders are very limited (personal preference) and never went over the CBP limits. Beer, wine, shots and water. No mixed drinks.
  4. For our October 2023 Pacific Coastal cruise on the Eclipse all the Martinis are listed as $17.00 on the app. For our September 2024 Alaska cruise on the Edge all Martinis are listed $15/$20 on the app. Different intinaries, different prices. The onboard prices could be different(?).
  5. I agree. I've always say that. Thanks for sharing your experiences and opinions. Welcome back. 🍻
  6. Keep checking your CP. Also once on board stop by the shore excursion desk to see if the excursion you are interested in is available.
  7. Modern Luxury tag line has been replaced by, "Journey Safe, Journey Wonderfull".
  8. When dose the app ever start working, correctly.
  9. Also when you return home from your cruise Email executiveoffice@celebrity.com with your complaints/concerns. This path seems to get more attention than the PCSs and especially here on CC.
  10. Log into your cruise planner. Click on Plan my Cruise and then click on Spa & Fitness.
  11. We've never cruised with MSC. Best to cruise on over to the MSC forum and ask that specific question.
  12. Why are you asking me that? Where in my post you quoted did I even remotely say anything about smoking?
  13. I'm not impressed with any of MSC intinaries for the Caribbean. 7 or 11 night cruises. Limited ports and their longer cruises are like B2B cruises with a TAD. Leaving from Miami, New York or Port Canaveral. I like their 10 and 11 night US/Canada cruise intinaries.
  14. With Celebrity, once you board the ship you can go directly to your stateroom. Your Seapass card will be at your stateroom (keep it) and you can drop off any carry on(s) you may have. You are asked not to stay in your stateroom. When the general announcement is made that the staterooms are ready then you are allowed to go back and do whatever.
  15. You may want to reengage with your TA. Not seeing it with Celebrity or online TAs.
  16. Check out Skyline Shuttle Express. https://skylineshuttleexpress.com/. Reasonable rates and all rides are private.
  17. TD and SD/AT does on the S & M class ships. On the E class ships it's open dining in the 4 MDRs.
  18. Sounds good, but not seeing that cruise on Celebrity's website. We've got an Alaska Dawes Glacier cruise 13 September 2024 on the Edge out of Seattle and returning to Vancouver.
  19. I prefer voicing my concerns directly to Celebrity by Emailing executiveoffice@celebrity.com.
  20. On the S & M class ships we always make reservations for Select Dining. When we first board the ship we find a two top in a location we like and request it. Always accommodated. Without a reservation we couldn't do that. On the E class ships reservations are not accepted for the MDR as it's open seating. No TD or SD designation. At least that was our experience on our March Apex cruise.
  21. Yes and beer in case your friend likes beer. 😉
  22. 20% gratuity added to the drink difference,
  23. Freedom class ships and lager have those shows. Voyager class and smaller do not. On those class of ships the main theater entertainment is a lot like Celebrity's. Not all RC class ships have ice rinks, comedy clubs, diving shows. Wish Celebrity had Quest.
