  1. I'm to shy. 😁 I volunteer Bucky. 🤣
  2. Agree. I had an issue with a contracted employee on a Celebrity cruise, reported the problem I encountered to GS thru a mid cruise survey. Guest Services, Hotel Director and the employees manager all contacted me and got involved. Problem taken care of immediately.
  3. I've always thought contracted employees should wear a different type of name tag. But, if there is a problem with a contracted employee (photographer, ect.) that is reported to Princess the responsibility falls back on Princess to handle it with the contracted employee/employer.
  4. D+ and Pinnacle laundry perk, so why not. Pictures to follow. 🤣
  5. Thanks. We use to enjoy cruising out of San Juan. Port intensive intinaries. We aren't sea day fans. Great for B2B cruises. Like the two itineraries you posted. We no longer cruise out of SJ as we grew tired of the long days and flights to get to SJ. Bummer for us. But...
  6. A huge plus for Celebrity is there is no inside smoking. Fleetwide.
  7. What you are doing is called a SBS (Side By Side cruise) and not a B2B cruise.
  8. The breading (no chicken) that has formed into weird shapes that is in the bottom of the fryer basket. 😁 I believe Kentucky Fried Chicken calls them Chicken Nuggets. 😂
  9. No and I would have laughed and corrected the person that tried telling me that.
  10. Celebrity's suggested dress guidelines. https://www.celebritycruises.com/faqs/onboard-dress-code
  11. Agree.I just tried 1-800-526-9723. Stuck in a loop with no luck getting a person with a pulse. No matter my request. At one time I said something and was told that my CAS tier level is Gold with 7 CAS cruise points. I guess I got demoted. 🤣
  12. Years ago before the reciprocal program, we were on a Celebrity cruise, sitting at a two top for supper. Next to us a solo guy at a two top who was already there and for some reason was getting into with a server. He then abruptly got up, threw his napkin on the table and said I'm Pinnacle and deserve better. As he stormed off I said not on Celebrity. Not sure if he heard me. And who cares! 😂
  13. We were on the Enchanted 27 March - 6 April. We ate in the MDR (Amalfi) every morning for breakfast. We both had omelets a few different mornings and always ordered our omelets the way we like them. Which included the cheese of our choice, green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, sausage, ham, etc. Yes not listed on the menu but no problem when asked. We had excellent service all mornings. We ate all our suppers in the Amalfi MDR and also had excellent service the entire cruise.
  14. Thank you. We enjoy all our cruises. Bummer as I was hoping one day I would buy you a drink. Enjoy and Bon Voyage. 🍻😁
  15. Have you actually stayed in a DPV? You can call it whatever you want. I don't care. If our view isn't obstructed it's not obstructed. As long as we are on an E class ship we are good with DPVs. In our opinion, a lot better than IVs and priced better than IVs. I agree with you and all that the balconies on the M &S class ships are a whole lot better.
  16. What's crazy is we had our 140 points on the second day of the first leg of our B2B AD cruise in 2015. Made D+ on the second leg of our JW cruise in 2017. Until this thread haven't really thought about the MIA blocks. Like RC has. 😂
  17. SSS's, DPVs and SVs are real balconies on the E class ships.
  18. We never received ours when we hit the 140 mark. I thought maybe when we made D+ we would. Nope. Maybe when we hit 210. I don't share the same disappointment or frustration as you. I never thought to speak with the LA about it. On our next cruise if I remember I will. Give us a couple of extra CAS drinks and we'll call it even.
  19. Nope. Just a tiny piece from a broken Heineken beer bottle.
  20. Hopefully we won't need to. We would expect to be recognized at a special gathering and our photo taken with the Captain and displayed on the ship so others could be envious and talk about it on CC. 😂
  21. No winning. 🙃 IMO, the DPVs are not obstructed based on the porthole design. We've had that type of balcony cabin on RCs Explorer Of The Seas and they don't call theirs a Porthole veranda. Just a balcony cabin with a balcony. Back to Celebrity. My point is we could see forward/straight out like sitting on a traditionally balcony. If we wanted to see straight down, left or right or straight up we would have to be standing. Like on a traditional balcony. And at that not all traditional balconies are equal. Again depending on the class of ship and cabin category. Agree, any class of ship, cabin, etc. is all a matter of personal preference. ✌️
  22. And according to the deck plans not all DPV's are obstructed. Some yes. Also the numbers of obstructed DPVs very from the deck to deck that have DPVs. That's why I always check, no matter the class of ship. We had 7118 on the Apex. No obstruction. Future cruise on the Edge, 7118 no obstruction.
