May I ask which cabin you had exactly? I have 4069 booked for in may, and now I'm concerned!

Speaking of Speedo's, are long/loose swimming trunks also acceptable in the spa? I'm not a big fan of speedo's due to their... revealing nature. Sorry if this was already asked before.

What link are you using? When I try to reset my password I get redirected to the following page: https://www.hollandamerica.com/nl_NL/log-in/forgotpassword.html (mine is of course in dutch, but I assume yours should redirect to en_US instead) Their website is a tad outdated tho. When trying to look at shore excursions it shows them only for a split second before giving me a white screen.

Had some really good experiences with customer support recently. Booked directly with HAL, so without a TA. But every mail I send to HAL Customer Service was always answered within a few (working) hours. From name corrections, cabin changes to dining time changes (They even already booked a table for 2 at the window when I just asked to change to Early dining!). Everything was handled quickly and expertly. There's still more than 250 days remaining before my cruise begins, so I do feel a bit silly for bothering them with so many questions so soon, but they don't seem to mind.

I think this depends on the itinerary. Just looked at my cruise in May 2024 and it listed $73.50. Would have considered it for 59, but I think I'll do mine by the bag if I need it. Still unsure of the costs of that as well. I've heard 20 and 30 floating around.

If there are still open cabins, HAL is willing to move you to another room if you mail them (if you booked directly at least, not sure if it works if you used a TA). So 10/10 for customer service on that part. Thanks for the warnings!

Oof, this thread made me double check my booking. Apparently I mistakenly got a connecting cabin as well. Mailed HAL to ask if I could change my cabin, since loads of non-connecting ones are still available closer to mid-ship (which might even be better because my partner could expirience motion/sea sickness) Hope they'll be okay with this!

So Geirangerfjord was replaced with Sognefjord. I've never seen either yet. Is the Geirangerfjord that much more spectacular? From what I can find online, the Sognefjord will be quite a nice sight as well.

Do you think there would be more noise on the Beethoven deck then? I've booked a room that's turns out to be just above the casino. Hope we won't have too much noise there...
