  1. LMAO!!! 😂🥰😂🥰😂🥰😂🥰😂😂😂😂. The best part every word or what PORT ROYAL said was the TRUTH!!!
  2. Keep reading threads in this St. Kitts forum and you'll find PORT ROYAL'S definition of T'erds!! On St. Kitts T'erds are normally associated with Carambola Beach Club. PORT ROYAL🤩🤩😂😂😂😂🤩🤩 I love this!! You've done it again!! OMG this is HILARIOUS!!
  3. They needed too move it closer to the cruise port. The other sign was too far to walk for most, I found it by accident. 😎
  4. I know exactly where it is. Walk out of port security, go right and keep walking, walk over the bridge about a mile or so. Easy nice walk. The sign will be on your LEFT. Can't miss it. Very easy to find, I wasn't looking for it and found it.
  5. When I to go back to Magens Bay, the "restaurant and bar" are no longer an issue for me and I'm a big beach bar person. Exactly, a bag of ice, 3-6 packs of Stella, backpack cooler, keep walking down the beach and keep walking. Yep, keep walking and don't look back.😎
  6. Ms411 who have you used and who would you recommend for an island tour? I've always been with our CC group or been my own tour guide on St. Thomas. I was thinking about on my next visit to do an island tour in the morning, get dropped off at Magens in the afternoon and spend the rest of my day on the beach. I would even do a whole day tour if it was all-inclusive. Any suggestions on a nice guided tour of St. Thomas? Thanks Todd
  7. Who cares it's a start from nothing. Like I said we never saw any food or drinks much less a menu. I've never been back to the bar at Magens Bay since and I've been to Magens Bay a half a dozen or more times since. Only issue I have with Magens Bay, I need a bigger cooler and I found one.😎
  8. Sounds too me like they liked everybody else but you, and charged you extra😁!! Coco Loco bar wawazzatt??🥴 You went left on us, straighten it back up Itchy.
  9. No really 😂😂 is a palapa and 2 loungers on Eagle Beach $50 now?? Jeezus!!
  10. Anything is better than what it was for decades. Between no menu and absolutely no service. 2 beach losers behind the bar drinking doing nothing, anything is better than what it was. Last several visits I never go to the bar anymore I don't trust them. I bring my own beer when I go to Magens Bay, I just didn't bring enough I got that covered from now on. That menu I've never seen before. The first and last time I went to the "restaurant or bar" at Magens we knew they served food or were supposed too but we didn't see any. We thought they served beer too, nope the 2 losers behind the bar washed glasses and walked to and from the kitchen doing absolutely nothing. Every seat at the bar was taken by a mother and their baby stroller.🤮 Worst beach bar experience ever. The menu looked great, because when we were there we never saw any food or drinks. If it'll make you feel any better I'm planning another cruise, St. Thomas is on the itinerary. I still don't trust them at Magens Bay. Our experience was so pitiful I'll bring my own food and drink until I know there's a new concessionaire. Thanks for the update.😘
  11. I'm not downloading the file again. Duh...
  12. I'm fine I was just playing around sheesh lighten up.🥰 Did I just read where the price went up to $50 a day for palapa and 2 loungers? It was just a matter of time until they figured it out when it came to Eagle Beach.
  13. My palapa and 1 lounger I'm solo was either $25-$30. It used to be less than that, I've been going to this beach now for 20 years. The palapas for years were $10+$5 for lounger. The days of sitting on any beach in the Caribbean for little of nothing is over and it should be. Me personally I wish they would charge more so Itchy&Scratchy would go down to Baby Beach and hang out with all the babies.😂
  14. I would wrap my dinner tab up around 9:30pm-ish. Getting a taxi back to the port is never a problem. When you get back you may have a few extra minutes to walk around town before you get back on the ship.
  15. No worries, a little planning can go a long way on your cruise vacation. Yes right here on Cruise Critic, when you come back post a review here in this Aruba forum and let us know how your day went.😎 In the event there's something else you need help with there's always someone here on CC to help. Have a great vacation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  16. For those of you with families spending the day on Eagle Beach I thought I would mention this. As your walking down the ramp to the beach if you look to your left you'll see 2 outdoor men's and women's bathrooms very centrally located. I say that because I've been to many beaches and the restroom is down at the end of the beach around the corner to the left at the rear of some building.🥺 Nope it's not like that, Eagle Beach bathrooms are right there, that comes in very handy when you drink on a beach like I do.😁😎😁😎 Or if you have children. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  17. I love Pink Iguanas at Iguana Joe's!!! I was just trying to keep them close to the port. Palm Beach is the place to be in the evenings it's just kind of a drive up there and back, but it's never a problem getting a taxi.
  18. I'm glad to be of help. If you have a small group like that 7. I would definitely hire a taxi van they'll take you right to Eagle Beach and pick you right up at a specified time your group wants to head back to your ship. JUST YOUR GROUP. Nice!! No worries have fun. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I'm going to check on the car seat for you, but just to be safe bringing one would be something I would keep in mind. Do not forget there are a million taxi drivers vying for your business. No worries. They'll be right there for you. Plus Eagle Beach is NOT far from your ship.
  19. That's definitely current!!! WE DID IT!!! WOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOO!! That's all they needed to do. NICE menu too. Don't get me wrong I still don't trust them when it comes to beer so the first few times back to Magens ummm I'll be bringing my own beer.😁😁😁 Food menu looks great. Prices I felt looked very reasonable as well. Thanks Ms411!!!! Damn, We Done It!! This is HUGE!! I'm happy for everybody!! Thanks again!!
  20. Yes ma'am you can pay with US currency. I Love the bus. Nice peaceful cheap and very efficient. No worries. Have fun. 👌🌟🌟🌟🌟👌
  21. I can help you out with that. When your group of 9(how nice!!) gets off your ship, your going to bottleneck out of port security to your left then go to the right into town. Your not solo like myself. If I were you I would find a minivan taxi never a problem and pay them to take you and pick you up at an agreed upon time to and from Eagle Beach. They'll be a ZILLION taxi drivers as you walk outside of security. With a group that size your own taxi van with just your family is the way to go. You can work out a very reasonable fee and time to be picked up. I'm solo for me it's very easy to take city transportation but in your case you can all go together in the same van for a very reasonable price. Nice palapas for rent at Eagle Beach. It's nice. Your group if you get there early you can rent a couple of them right beside each other. With 2 loungers, I'm not sure what they cost a palapa and 2 chairs is around $25 a day. Great deal great beach. Passions at the Beach as you go down the ramp to the beach will be on your right, I recommend you getting palapas close to Passions. Get your palapas BETWEEN Passions and the Beach not on the side, go up front get you a couple of palapas where you can see everything plus if you get thirsty or hungry Passions is right there. GREAT food I found their menu for a beach bar, incredible. Best seat on the beach. I don't know if you can rent palapas ahead of time. I've never done that I just get to the beach EARLY find me the nicest palapa, drop my backpack pay the man, and get the party started. I guess you could email Amsterdam Manor and check OR get your group together early and get to Eagle Beach. Unless there's a large number of ships in port there really shouldn't be too much of a problem renting a couple of palapas. Have a nice vacation and when you get back please don't forget to give us a review. Take care
  22. This is a routine I have stuck with on Aruba for the last 20 years. The ship (the Emerald, the Grand or the Caribbean Princess) we always disembarked late on the island. I caught the bus at Eagle Beach around 4-4:30pm went back to the ship took a shower, changed clothes went back out and had dinner and cocktails upstairs at Iguana Joe's(you can find the menu online). It's right across the street from the port. Your ship leaves at 10pm I have dinner, drinks, pay my tab around 9:45pm and walk right across the street. Security pulls the gate shut right behind me I'm the last person on the ship and off we go. I highly recommend it. Iguana Joe's Bloody Mary's are as good as the Bloody Mary's on the ship. Mojito's to die for. Great food. Go have fun. You can always have dinner on the ship and go back out and have drinks. I'm a fan of Iguana Joe's it's a fun place a crew favorite, great drinks, great bar food and GREAT location a 3-5 minute walk back to the ship. Other than a nice bar tab what's not to like.😎🌟🌟🌟🌟😎 Go have fun.
