I am looking at a page that I printed when we booked a Sky Suite on Summit, and it says we have both of these for our Boston NE/Canada cruise. What does each mean. Priority check-in Anytime? checkin? 11 AM? I think I could only get 12:30 when I received an email requesting that I schedule embarkation. I couldn't find that when I went to the X website and signed in. Stream wi-fi , Is this the best? will we need to upgrade use two devices? Any info appreciated. We last sailed on X to Aus/NZ in 2017. We miss it.

We sailed on Regent last March/April. The one area where Regent excelled was food. Easily the best food we have had on a cruise ship. 10/10 But as days went by all the food just had something in common. A 10 or 11 night cruise. I think it might be compared to eating in the same restaurant night after night. We like the food on X, and you can get some variety by going to the specialty restaurants. Still I suspect I will get a little tired of the "cruise ship food" on our Summit cruise later next month.

Has done a Live ship review? But my memory sucks.

Ha, we have sailed on Century more than any other ship. I had Mercury confused with older ships, Horizon and Zenith. We sailed Zenith around(Cape horn) South America in 2003 and Horizon to Bermuda in 2004.

Do you recall Mercury's sister ship's name? Ha , tip of my tounge. My favorite.

How to make the most of a Transatlantic Cruise?
TomBeckCruise replied to GRBlizz's topic in Celebrity Cruises
They are not for everyone. If you don't care for day after day at sea ----. That might have something to do with the somewhat low price. Your cruise has a desirable route with interesting ports and only 5 consecutive sea days. Our only Transatlantic had 7 consecutive sea days, and that was too many for us. Others love them. To each their own. -
Sorry if I missed it, but where on the Seven Seas is your X cruise going. A Caribbean cruise will likely be more lively than a cruise where the ports are more significant culturally. We have enjoyed our 4 NCL cruises. One of our best was a Med cruise where got to visit Egypt/Cairo for a couple of days. I'm sure you will find others that enjoy the kind of night life you seek. Probably not as many as on NCL. Give the other nightlife a try. We have never had a problem enjoying both, although we are probably less social than you.

LGBT or Friends of Dorothy Meet up on Solstice to Alaska

Same here, and DW and I appreciate people that accept us. I grew up in a community about as mixed as you can get. Race, Religion, Nationality(mostly American), Politics, etc. No one's (0%) ancestors were from there, and everyone(except criminals) was accepted. -
Do you know what time the last test of the day was given? Or scheduled to be given? We were on another cruise line in March/April that ended at Barcelona. Covid test began around 8:00 AM and continued most of the day. There were 500 passengers on the ship. Checking paper work and administering the test took a few minutes(1-3). This was when the US required a negative test to fly home so not all passengers were tested. Still testing takes time. We received our result around 8 PM. There was no announcement of how many or what Percentage tested positive.

Options for Covid test pre=cruise
TomBeckCruise replied to Nebr.cruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Thanks for the heads up. WE have used CVS and Walgreens in Nashville without a problem. They seem to be on every corner. I will speak to one of the pharmacist to make sure they are not having problems. -
Options for Covid test pre=cruise
TomBeckCruise replied to Nebr.cruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
WE sail Aug 31, 22 from Boston on Summit. We live in the US. My understanding is we can get a test at CVS on Aug 29 at any time and it will be accepted(negative results) to board Summi? -
I have reposted this review for our 8-31-22 Summit Canada/NE cruise. WE have been fortunate to have sailed with Judith and her wife two times, and probably been on 10+ shore excursions with her. Judith is an expert traveler, and if she puts together a shore excursion for fellow Cruise Critic members to join it will have been thoroughly researched. I asked her once if she would consider being a travel agent or travel planner.

Oops, sorry. It was Samuel Adams NA IPA. .5% "Just the Haze" I just came from our local Publix and saw it there. The Heineken said 0.0%. I couldn't find anything on the bottle that said otherwise.
-
Yep, I haven't had a truly 0% that I liked. I probably would not have known the .5% had it if a friend hadn't told me. I hadn't had a beer in 20+ years. That might have something to do with my enjoyment.
-
FWIW, I no longer drink, and was surprised how much i enjoyed a Heineken Alcohol free beer a couple a months ago. But if you look on the bottle it is .5% I bought a six pack of Boston Pale Ale in the store the other day, and it was also .5%. Other brands I looked at were also .5%. I'd guess there are 0% brands.

I own 100 shares of CCL, RCL, and NCLH. Each has a similar benefit and each owns several cruise lines. We just used the NCLH benefit on a Regent cruise, and I sent the required docs electronically to RCL yesterday for our 8-31-22 cruise on Summit. We have cruised on HAL many times and used the CCL credit each time.

I noticed that the Eclipse was scheduled to be refurbished in 2021. Did that happen? Does anyone have any experience staying in an Eclipse Sky Suite, deck 12 recently? They are under the Oceanview cafe. That is an area that we would usually avoid because of the noise during meals, particularly breakfast. We have had a cabin under a carpeted dining venue before and it was not bad. I don't recall the ship or cruise line.
