  1. Taking a cruise during a pandemic can be problematic.
  2. Iโ€™m bringing my old Blackberry to give away. (Sarcasm Font on๐Ÿ˜‰)
  3. We usually take $40 each, a couple nights on the ship, and donate it to the cause. If it lasts and hour or so at the slots, it is better than a night at the movies after you add snacks and popcorn. It is almost the same cost as well. Wagering a set amount of money, to get a cabin with such restrictions makes me enjoy the way we go about it. That being said, different strokes for different folks. We like suites while others like insides. That's the thing about cruises, they pretty much have everyone covered.
  4. BA BOOM. Biker, wins post of the day. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. Add me to the list of those that agree. I can attest personally, having it on land sucks. At least my coffee is being served in a mug, not a paper soup bowl. (Those seeing the thread on the main boards will get that joke). @ReneeFLL I hope you feel as good as possible while in this crappy situation.
  6. I think they are wanting free access.
  7. I hope it remains mild for them and no more of them get it. Thatโ€™s what Lisa and I have been saying. We should have been eligible for our second booster any day, but now we have natureโ€™s booster. Trying to put a positive spin on feeling like garbage. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  8. My wife and I are in the last days/stages of Covid recovery. I said to her, I could not imagine how it would feel to be on a ship with how we feel here at home. I think the fresh air could be a big benefit that she is missing. As for food, our appetites has been off. Iโ€™m sure if a steak was placed in front of me Iโ€™d try it, but it is definitely not what Iโ€™m craving. I hope your wife feels as good as possible, and that you remain negative for your trip home.
  9. I had some for lunch. I have been consuming lots of iced water as well today. Next up is some tea with honey. Tonight I will partake in some NeoCitran before bed.
  10. I wonder if they booked it for themselves, they are a co-owner after all. The commission would cover a chunk of the cruise cost and they travel the world from the Royal Suite. Now if it was an actual client, I wonder how the OBC and TA perks would work out for their client. Has to be more than one bottle of wine and a meal at Chops. ๐Ÿ˜
  11. Owen had it back in February so he is all good. I feel better today than yesterday. I even went outside for a few minutes.
  12. I didnโ€™t like MASH until I was older. For context I was in grade 6 when the final episode aired. It was in university that I started to watch and appreciate the show. Hogans Heroโ€™s was on TV when I came home from school. That show I loved as a kid. โ€œI see nothingโ€. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  13. Iโ€™m used to spring allergies as a long time sufferer. For me this has been much worse than a head cold for me. It feels like a vice on my head, along with a horrendous sinus headache. I have been doing my best to stay hydrated. My appetite is low with just 3 bowls of cereal being consumed the last two days. I have been basically lounging on my bed the last two days. Lisa has been doing better than me, but is also two days ahead of being being patient zero for our home. Iโ€™m optimistic that today will be a better day.
  14. Just like Lisa and I. We went to the Jays game and we now both have Covid. Even with 2 doses and a booster it has kicked us both hard.
  15. He seems to be having a good day at school. He has soccer practice after school and baseball practice after dinner and gifts at home.
  16. We booked Mariner for October. It has 2 sea days and stops at CoCo Cay and Labadee. Itโ€™s our first 5 day, and second cruise from PC. The ship has one wave, and many specialty dinning choices.
