  1. The only way I think this could have happened was they checked the wrong box and stated they were married or a couple living together.
  2. Sadly, I agree. I wish they would bring back the two types of Internet packages.
  3. If RC did that for the first few days of every cruise, on the 30 minute interval, I think the chair hogs should/would learn quickly.
  4. I think the review is officially over. Iโ€™d think the official Bella Thread would be best for continued discussion. Not everyone on the roll call will be a FOB, but they should be. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  5. We live in the country so we donโ€™t have it available where we live. Our first time using it was in LA and once we figured it out it was easy. In fact we use it more in Florida than anywhere. I bet there are videos on YouTube on how to use it.
  6. That would be the previous nights dinner. ๐Ÿคช
  7. You can eat food by the pool. You cannot be in the water. For example the back row of the beach pool chairs you are OK with food. Front row where the chairs are in the water you are not. We saw a young boy being asked to move away from the waters edge with his ice cream, but we were good eating our Port Side BBQ brisket sandwich in the last row. We took our takeout containers to the garbage when done.
  8. Or the ships removing the Sky Pad could make it a launching pad for offenders.
  9. Half of our head office team of 10 have accepted jobs with the new owners. All are staying until the end, with a thank-you to come from us. ๐Ÿ˜‰ As for the rest of the staff there will be no change, unless they are released for justified reasons. There are monthly transition meetings. After 40 years of us being in business there will be some changes, but change is inevitable. I canโ€™t wait until managing the farms is the majority of my job. In speaking with our local Ford Dealer owner, we have joked that I might also help to transfer cars between dealerships. Iโ€™m a car guy after all.๐Ÿ˜
  10. My photo above tends to say 98%. Suite sun deck was the same. Common decency seems to be fading fast.
  11. Photo below is at the beach pool. I also miss the tables on Oasis, they just have the umbrellas now. They did nothing. This was on Oasis before 8am the week of March 12th. The sun is just rising in the background in the photo. The loungers were basically this empty at 9am, with a few people showing up. Still more than the 30 minutes time limit. Nothing was marked, or moved by deck crew. People eventually showed up as it was a sea say. Even up on the suite sun deck every lounger was hoarded.
  12. 30 minutes is long enough to do all the items you noted. If you are going to the MDR or a parade is another thing. We just had 6 chairs hogged beside us from 9am to 3pm, on Oasis while at Costa Maya. The hogs came and removed their towels in street clothes and didnโ€™t sit down. Itโ€™s one thing to be in the pool, what we experienced was not that case.
  13. Yes there is, but I never speak of it. The farm is my "release" from stresses. We have a family business which employs over 1,500 people. My mom is basically retired and my brother is a silent partner. We signed a sale agreement last July and will close in late summer. I should/might be able to ride some waves on ships more often in the future. More likely when Owen is off to college and things settle down here.
  14. They would need one for almost every chair on Oasis. They were almost all taken before sunrise and deck crew did nothing.
  15. I might be retired sooner than later. Iโ€™d sacrifice some time if you need a travel companion. Lisa and Vikki would both be unhappy then. LOL
  16. Every family is different and this sounds like a great idea. Maybe go to the Schuswaps and rent a house boat with the one family and Wonder for the other. Two different types of sailings. One will be more economical than the other but it isnโ€™t like you have to give the one family cash to make up the difference. A couple other ideasโ€ฆ how about taking one on Wonder and the other on an Alaskan cruise. The heat wonโ€™t be as oppressive and the flight times will be way less for the one family. You also get two cruises, going on both. ๐Ÿ˜ You could also try to see if you could get the Villa Suite with Star Class or two ATS which hold your families, if money isnโ€™t an object, and many lines will disappear. Your SIL might become a cruise diva though, and never want to go without Star again. ๐Ÿคช I was going to suggest a trip to the West Edmonton mall water park and stay at the hotel, but then noticed you are from Edmonton. There would be lines there too, but he wouldnโ€™t have to travel far to get there. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. Especially as he has been on a cruise before.
  18. I feel for those having to clean up trees after a big storm. Thankfully this tree missed their outdoor hydrant. That would have been another mess.
  19. Hydro electric, for our part of the country a fair amount of our power is created by water. Niagara Falls being the main source. We also use natural gas turbines, wind and solar but it just gets labeled as hydro
  20. Lisa unfortunately has a faint positive line on her Covid test. She doesnโ€™t feel any worse today than yesterday. I however, knock on wood, am negative. ๐Ÿคž
