So confused, Barefoot Beach Cabanas
A&L_Ont replied to Dolby1000's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I think they mean Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, except there is a suite area at Labadee at least for now. -
A few photos from the concert at the Dolby Live Theatre. Adam came out into the audience and sang the first song of the encore. It’s a 5,000 person venue and I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. Final song was Sugar and it ended with a large blasts of wedding style confetti. If you have seen the video for this song, you already know that they crash multiple weddings in LA and surprise the wedding party and sing this song.

What happens to items intentionally left in cabins?

There was a point in time that Porsches didn’t have cup holders, as they were meant to be driven and not shunt beverages from Starbucks to Starbucks. 😉😂 -

As per bajathree anyone can now book them. RC changed it a while ago from just suites and Pinnacles. Back then, you couldn’t book them on-line either. -
Oasis class: star loft. Opinions please
A&L_Ont replied to philpcruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
A view points for the aft facing cabin for both ships to consider. They may translate to the ocean view SLS as well. We sailed on Harmony in January and Oasis in March in the aft racing suite. The upstairs Symphony has a TV which lowers from the ceiling, a privacy sheer/curtain along the glass balcony and a shower tub combo. The upstairs closet has no shelves. Oasis has a permanently mounted small TV at bed height along the glass wall railing which is incredibly hard to watch, a 2 person shower with rain head and separate controls for all three, and a awkwardly installed privacy sheer as an after thought along the edge of the bed. We do like the shower. The upstairs closet has selves. Oasis on the main level has more space between the dining table and back wall storage is double that of Harmony. We all noticed it when we put stuff in the drawers in March. -
I thought it might not work. It was noted that it could not be viewed in Russia. What I find interesting is there are other videos on YouTube that have three full songs. They are viewable and I like those people who uploaded have a non-monetized account. Tonight I will adapt the video and see if it can posted when shortened or with some other changes. 🤷♂️

I described the flight times and process above this post. When they checked us in they took our actual weights VS what we filled out on-line months ago. In the front row there was the 3 of us plus the pilot. If we remember there was 4 seats in the back. We did book the chopper for a private flight and they allowed us all in the front row. If there was a full flight I do not know if they would arrange where you would sit or not. I do suspect that they would move you from the back to the front going VS return flight. If we remember there is also a max weight per person. They also do this exact flight as a sunset flight tour and when you return you see the strip at dusk. The lights are stunning. The sunset on the canyon walls is something to see. This was Lisa and I 10 years ago at the same spot.

We were picked up at our hotel at 9am with their shuttle. We took off at 10am and flew for 45 minutes to where we landed in the Canyon. We stopped for 30 minutes and they served us a selection of snacks, champagne, soda and water. The flight back was another 45 minutes. Along the way back we stopped for fuel at the reserve. It’s always cheaper at the reserve. That was another 10 minute stop where we were able to get out and walk around again. When you return to the base at the airport they will shuttle you back to your hotel. We decided to walk to the Welcome to Vegas sign which was minutes away and get some photos. We then Ubered back to our hotel from there. We were at the hotel by 12:50pm.

From what I can tell the high rise buildings are all along the strip, and the rest of the town is lower buildings. The Bellagio is 36 stories and the ones around it seem comparable in height. Old Vegas, Fremont Street area, the buildings are not as high. If I had to guess Vegas grew out VS up because they just took up more of the dessert. It’s not prime farm land or real estate. Fremont St in the distance, where the taller buildings are. Most of the community buildings outside of that area are lower in height. Closer to Old Vegas. The Fremont Experience is the long, low silver coloured arched building in the center/top of the photo. The view of newer Vegas. Many of the buildings are higher/comparable. Side note around the gravel lot in the bottom of this photo is where Pawn Stars, Counts Customs, Ricks Restorations and Vegas Rat Rods are located. All within a couple miles of another.

Royal acknowledges too hard mattresses?

For once it’s not @Biker19 brining up the old threads from the past. The search function does work for those that might wonder. -
If you have time to spare here is the video of our trip to the Grand Canyon. I cut a lot out and it is still just under 15 minutes. You can see how low Lake Mead is even though it has gone up a bit, Hover Dam, The GC Skywalk, and a return flight over the strip. The one thing I found amazing is how green and lush even the dessert was after their rains so far this year. You especially see it in along the river’s edge. If you have any question I might be able to answer them. I also added some music so please turn up your volume. A direct link if it doesn’t want to play. https://youtu.be/Bt6CJHZ8B1o
