  1. What airline did they book you on without seat assignments ? BA?
  2. Deviation fee is paid when you change a date or request specific flights/routes/airlines. An upcharge occurs if they cannot match their fare bucket on your particular flight request which would be the difference in the fare less regents rate. You could also be charged an up charge if you are coming from a smaller airport vs one of regents gateway cities.
  3. Could but why if regent will stock it for you e.g. dw likes her sugar free redbull.
  4. If you want to make sure they have a specific drink you can email the special request.
  5. I would add RSSC pax prefer less crowds and not waiting for an elevator all the time. I found the RSSC pax more polite and better mannered (e.g. ladys first on the elevator, waiting your turn for the elevator vs. closest people pile in) only exceptions I have seen are some chair hogs and people that lose their manners at the breakfast buffet oblivious to others. I would compare it to the Ritz/Four Seasons/MO/Waldorff customer expectations vs the Holiday Inn customer. RSSC customers expect good facilities, amenities and services across the board including air and pre-cruise services. Note I would go on NCL (and have pre haven) if I had my grandkids with us but stay in the Haven and my expectations would be lowered.
  6. So what I am hearing here is that the price of the concierge D is the $39283 from the sceen shot. @Pcardad can you verify that as you seem to be very informed on the Regent pricing. Perhaps I need a more experienced TA if that is the case.
  7. Are there any TA on this board that could verify what the price of a phb would be on that cruise? Is it the price listed for a cat d on regents site?
  8. I'm looking at the pricing for a cruise which I have booked already in a PHB upgraded from a cat D. My TA is telling me that the regent agent said that the two-cat upgrade is built into the pricing. So when I select the cat D and it shows the $39283 price for 2pax, they are telling me that $39283 is the pricing for F-1 as the upgrade is built into the pricing. Seems fishy to me because wouldn't the G-1 G-2 and H all have the H pricing? That would mean the huge jump in price from a D to PHC on regent website is the jump from an F-1 to E regularly. I didn't think there was that much difference from an F-1 to E. Can anyone verify if this is true?
  9. Yes I do you can emial me at m.leo@att.net. It is good until aug 2026
  10. Welcome to the club. Regent's customer relations have taken a nosedive in the past couple of years.
  11. I found that PR is easiest to book. I think because it is either loved or not. P7 is my usual "book first" especially on a seaday. I usually leave the first seaday open if it is the second or 3rd night as they have a nice menu in CR. Also be aware some overnights will not have the Specialties open as the do the special poolside dinner on an Overnight.
  12. most milage bookings are refundable. I think Qatar charges a $25 change cancellation fee on theirs.
  13. You will but it is based on milage flow: Special fares Earning AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points Some fares (such as bulk or consolidator fares) earn AAdvantage® miles at a modified rate based on a percentage of the distance flown as determined by the booking code.* You’ll earn Loyalty Points toward AAdvantage® status for each AAdvantage® base mile earned on eligible flights, including cabin of service and status mileage bonuses. Special fares are often bought through a specialized agent, third party or as part of a package including air transportation and lodging. These include: Bulk fares Cruise fares Consolidator fares Discounted or inclusive tour packages Other tickets where the fare isn't disclosed, excluding bookings made through priceline.com or hotwire.com where the carrier isn't disclosed before buying
  14. Just because you see a 7000 fare that is not what regent pays. You could use expert flyer and see the seats open for discount business on any given flight as well as award and upgrade seats on some airlines. (You can click on the info button to the right to see fare code descriptions)
  15. They flew us and other on both. Turkish air was very nice for us dfw Ist non stop. Food and service very good.
  16. Depends on route I have been booked on aa delta and Turkish so far. All were good routes and reasonable layovers or non stop.
  17. Regent air might get you on AA. Booking a one way is definitely not feasible as the fares same as round trip. You might create an account on Iberia and check their availability using avios.
  18. Could use avios on Iberia via madrid. Also AA has nonstops to ORD out of both.
  19. I would agree - depending on the flight time drive to MIA, TPA or MCO and stay the night as many hotels have park and fly deals and shuttle to the airport. You return will most likely arrive in the late afternoon so stay another night at the same hotel. It will make the travel days a lot easier and most certainly cost less than 2K pp.
  20. I think if you book the hotel through regent for extra nights they give you the transportation from airport to hotel and then to ship.
  21. "deviate" means request a specific airline flight date class and get your flight earlier than you would if you waited for regent to pick your flights for you. For instate a deviate is a : "cruise ends in rome but I choose to fly out of milan 14 days later than the end date and only wanted one stop max and requested American one world." I got that route at no extra cost but then there was a schedule change 3 months later and the BA/American connection didn't work so they rebooked me on delta.
  22. Or American status which translates to one world.
