  1. Trying to finish online survey ! Just give me a paper copy or let me complete at home if your service is this crappy! Trying to complement the hard working staff and critic the issues. It seems management doesn’t give a crap about the passengers so why care about the staff? They can’t handle the truth!!! It’s past midnight off the coast of Italy not peak time in the middle of the pacific! What is the problem???
  2. There is a petition going around, but as I noticed on the last cruise(NZ) won’t buy you a cup of coffee with Regent.
  3. I have one more cruise to take with regent as I have some FCC’s to use up. But I cancelled the others and certificate. Any loyalty I had left over after the similar treatments experienced on the 100% regent fault NZ cruise has gone. Love the ship staff service, but the front office and ships management but I can find a similar product on SS. I guess management figures they can lure others in to replace the lost ones.
  4. They just had the pool grill menu a small salad bar and burgers dogs…. As we we getting some items in la veranda they pull the trays right under us.
  5. We just got back from an excursion at 2 many arriving and they closing la veranda and pool grill . Note the excursion didn’t include lunch. Just stupid. Who the hell is making these decisions ???

They should just open it on intensive excursion days and ports with a nice ambiance, even if it is a cooled to order service with limited items pizza burgers sandwiches….or make it a reservation resteraunt like silverseas pool grill hot rocks. Worst case just have the bar open and have a few staff to go pick up from room service . on our day in santorini room service was hammered and compass rose was very empty.
  8. Rhodes was a really nice port. Santorini was a pita with the cable car line and people trying to cut in. Would be nice if regent found another way to get people back to the ship.
  9. I’m not sure where I called you out as a cheerleader. I would hardly call this cruise “little stuff”. If you think regent is perfect …great enjoy, but I’m just saying there is room for improvement in some departments and I’m not sure regent is reading all the customer base. As a follow up the pool bar tender Mansour Stayed and served my friends who had orders arrive at many different times. Compass rose was half full and I went to get some food and ate alone, just a salad and steak, which was served promptly and was very good. I did have a senior officer come to my table and said he and read my comments and apologized and we had a good discussion of the situation. I mention how you can go on SS and get a pizza or pool grill…. I also noted that the bean counters seem to being ruining the “luxury service” and they should evaluate the ports and dining options together. He was cordial and said he would go up and apologize to my friends at the pool deck and brought them a nice bottle of Champaign, a very nice gesture. My point was for regent to evaluate the offerings they have for these situations and while I didn’t need a personal experience in the dining room but I believe that the point was made. I promised my friends a regent experience and it just was not happening. Hopefully it will escalated and regent will evaluate their dinner offerings on port intensive days.
  10. In the voyager but different topic. Had a couple of long days and of course getting back from Santorini was a long line and wait and msc pax trying to cut the line (sorry for the divergence) Lots of people on board including our group of 8. Butler said we couldn’t order room service to pool deck as I have read here before. So I took my mid cruise to GM and his assistant was there. Basically I asked why the heck can’t they have the pool grill open on a day like today with a casual meal after getting back late??? Silverseas has several venues for that! Or better instead of adding 5 ports maybe they should have had an overnight in Athens and had the great and enjoyable food buffet. Again what happened to not saying no? How hard would it be to deliver our food to the pool deck? I’m very disgusted with regent right now and many I have spoken with onboard are as well. All the regent cheerleaders can defend all you want but they have really dropped in service.
  11. In voyager now and it takes forever to laid a page on this site. Goodness just offer high speed for everyone instead of chafing 10 bucks a day. If regent wants a first class luxury experience the give it on internet. On another note …..First time on voyager and I would not sail it again tv in ph is tiny shower so small with just a hand shower and a cheap metal shelf that won’t hold the shampoo conditioner and shower gel with out getting knocked off by the hand shower cord. Lack of usb ports…. The ship needs a major refurbishment. Definitely not the same cabin experience as the explorer class ships.
  12. Just read the Israel thread and you will realize that the air department director ought to be fired or re-incentivized. Regent air is a horrible service and not on par with the cruise ship itself. If the company offers included business class air it absolutely should be a smooth first class part of the offering otherwise discontinue it. They way it is operating now is like offering box wine and chicken nuggets for dining options and is certainly hurting the brand. Frankly silverseas is a better value if you are going to book your own air (imhop and experience.). Sorry pcardad but regent air is on par with carnival.

  14. Reply I received from guest services prior to our trip. The “if your had booked your own air comment” was flat out wrong. I believe the airlines we more than accommodating especially if one has status in their FF program. To me this response was indifferent and patronizing. I removed our friends name for privacy. We understand the importance of a seamless and convenient travel experience, particularly for a first-time cruise with Regent. Firstly, I would like to express our sincere concern for Mrs. X recent open heart surgery and her need for a more accommodating flight itinerary. Please note, Guest Relations is limited in our scope of response with this inquiry as we mainly provide assistance with post cruise concerns, not future reservations. In an effort to better assist however, we have thoroughly reviewed your proposed flight changes and possible alternatives, including swapping your seats to accommodate Mrs. X needs and exploring the possibility of the 2 1/2 hour connecting BA flight 688at 12:55 pm in economy. However, after consulting with the Director of Air Services, we regret to inform you that due to the complexities of the current booking and our airline policies, we are unable to make the requested modifications to your existing reservations. It should serve to note that had you instead booked your own air, you equally would not be able to call the airline and simply make this change as the airlines would consider it a cancellation, as name changes to an entirely different person is not permitted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and understand the significance of a smooth travel experience, especially for Mrs. X comfort and well-being.
  15. Correct. I guess I could have phrased it better but after a long flight to Istanbul and only a few hours sleep, I’m surprised I could type on the phone.
  16. I must say boarding was a very quick process once the bus navigated the traffic. There was a huge line at the shoreex and if you didn’t get there early you got screwed. The offerings were very limited compared to what you see on the website. Hopefully the find more capacity. Our Luggage was delivered very quickly but it was 545 before I unfinished packing and hit the bar. Sette mar was good although they didn’t open the terrace. Drink service was a little slow but probably because we have been so stressed the last week. they said pax count was just under 600 so a fiat amount canceled or didn’t make it. lonedaddy is back out of jail thanks texasrocks for filling in! and hey I won 20 bucks at the casino !
  17. When I got my mba (a long long time ago) the marketing professors said the cost to lose a loyal customer is ten times less than the cost to gain a new customer.
  18. They will get what done ? Change my flight to a different day when I already have one across the pond. That is not getting it done. Anyone that was on the pre cruise or deviated early should get a call . And if they have so much work to do they should give the record to my TA and let them handle it! Sorry but this is unacceptable.
  19. What is frustrating is the lack of communication and urgency. Why didn’t they call in the air department to work on this Sunday? Let’s assume there are 700 pax /350 cabins on board and 60% on regent air. Some might be doing back to back. So there are 210 reservations to change on each cruise . 420 total. How many air agents does regent have. That is 210 to change each day assuming no overtime. That is about 25 reservations per hour to change. If they have 10 agents working on this that is 2.5 per hour. Pick up the phone an call the customers and ask what they prefer. it is ridiculous that my TA cannot change the air reservation direct with Air France. It make too much sense to just rebook me and my friends connecting flight on the day we are already scheduled. I’ll pay for my own hotel and transfers. Horrible customer service.
  20. I understand that and am ready to go on cruise but the regent air stance we will not take requests is bs. Our friend going on Turkish air connecting through Ist and they want to keep their flight on the 11th. We are booked on af to Cdg on the 11th and want to keep it and go to Ist instead of tlv and seats available. You think it would be easier to accommodate this than change everyone to the 13th or 14th as many flights don’t even get in until the afternoon. I asked my TA to try and work with AF direct. If regent screws this up it will be my last cruise with them and I’m sure many others. Sounds like the NZ debacle all over again.
  21. I can handle the change but I prefer to keep my flight to CDG and just have them change the connection to IST. Would be easier that rebooking on the new date. Where is Jennifer Teagan when you need her?

  23. There will be evacuation flights el Al has been adding flights out. Similar to Covid the embassy will also arrange evacuation flights.
