  1. Yes they do. Here are the details with costs, times, and available airlines.
  2. That is correct. That is where we go, every boarding day on Oasis class ships. It is much less crazy than Windjammer. It did start getting busy by the time we left, so the secret is getting out Donโ€™t forget to check food stations both sides, because they have different things.
  3. Same for us. Cool and overcast, and no sunrise. Waves crashing at the beach. IMG_0273.mp4 The pool and spa heater quit working overnight, so now we have to run it in service mode, and manually switch between the pool and spa. Kids said the pool was getting a little cool. And Daryl? Somehow, he has evidently ended up in the hospital.
  4. I can help you out with the grolsch. I have a couple I carried off the ship. The one kind of voucher drink that travels well, if you need to use vouchers at the end of the day.
  5. We were just there again today, for lunch. The place was really packed. My daughter-in-law is wicked with the mallet, cracking crabs. Think a couple pieces of flying shells were headed my way. Everyone loves it there.
  6. I just realized that I didnโ€™t post photos of Darylโ€™s large friends on this thread. He was so happy to see them again. And some of our views till the January cruise.
  7. You know you have been at your rental long enough, when your wife starts getting Amazon deliveries here. Daryl is still in Christmas mode. Daryl found some more new friends, but they are not the inflatable kind. You know you are in Florida when these are around.
  8. Another beautiful sunrise this morning at the beach. @HBE4 if you are looking for a retirement home, this is one for sale in the area we are staying. It looks like there is enough room that we could come and stay with you during the winter. Only $16,000,000 and taxes of $200k a year. https://www.redfin.com/FL/Pompano-Beach/2004-Bay-Dr-33062/home/41518952
  9. Here at the beach house we rented, we have free Disney+, and free Netflix, courtesy of a couple families that evidently rented before our stay. Just a friendly reminder to anyone who logs in to their streaming service at a rental, or at a hotel. Donโ€™t forget to log out of the service before you leave. I am always reminding Susan to log out, everywhere we go.
  10. Nassau was a last minute port change for us, due to heavy rain and flooding in Labadee. Since we have been to Nassau many times before, we debated on staying on the ship, but then decided to get off and do our own walking tour. So no, it wasnโ€™t a ship excursion. We started off by walking up to Junkanoo Beach, and we made stops at the British Colonial for a quick picture, then stopped at Margaritaville Resort to check their day pass prices. We have that in mind when we bring the family here in August. For the rest of the walking tour, I used the app GPS My City They have a couple of walking tours with maps. We used mainly the City Introduction walk You may see some of the same things on a ship, or private tour, because we saw several busses and taxis at many of these stops. Sine we like to walk a lot, it was no problem for us, but there were areas where the sidewalks were poor, or some with no sidewalks. I really like the improvements they have made to the Nassau port. Have fun planning, whatever you do.
  11. I found this interesting the other day. So now, I have told everyone that on New Yearโ€™s Eve, they have toโ€ฆโ€ฆ.. 1. Eat 12 grapes at the stroke of midnight. 2. Say Rabbit, Rabbit, white Rabbit. 3. Then say Happy New Year. Taking no chances on wishes and good luck for the new year! Of course, since Susan is allergic to grapes, does that mean I have to eat her 12 for her? If so, I might feel like Joey Chestnut in a hot dog contest.
  12. Beach sunrise this morning. This little guy wandered up to me on the beach Just after 7am, and the boats are headed out Early fishing from the jetty.
  13. We are about 2.5 miles north of the Beachcomber, near the Hillsboro inlet. The beach is narrower up here, and it is a little more removed from the action. It is a nice, quiet area, and we will probably keep this house on our list of ones to come back to.
  14. Haha. Yes, we are in a rental home for our between cruises stay. This year we are at one in Pompano Beach. We have stayed in several, between here and Hollywood. Next year we are back to the same one we had last year, between Lauderdale by the Sea and Fort Lauderdale.
  15. Took the family out to see Christmas lights tonight. This guy has a pretty impressive display at his house. Probably a pretty impressive electric bill too. IMG_0217.mp4 A couple photos too
  16. Part of our home, away from home until our January cruise I am thinking of using this area for our family photo. Or Tiki bar. Or both๐Ÿ˜ Nice, secluded beach access Beach was not crowded this morning. Even found a lighthouse for OB And, Daryl was trying to wave down his largest inflatable friend. But he just flew on by, and over the lighthouse. Good thing, because we wouldnโ€™t have room for that one in the pool.
  17. Just think of the places Daryl could have seen, if I could have taken him on a world cruise! Meanwhile, Daryl is happy to be with his big friends. Now you know why we didnโ€™t take the other two on the cruise. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
